It looks extremely promising - the contents, the interface and the layout- all great. But it seems I can only access papers through search. The home page always says there's trouble connecting, on all my devices, all of which have good internet connection. It seems to be a glitch on the app's side. Can it be fixed? Or maybe is it because a home page is a premium feature? I'm pretty sure I'd give 5 stars if I could explore papers only based on my list of research interests. Edit: Got fixed :)

It offers a wide array of academic resources thanks to the researchers who upload their work themselves. Be cautious with their premium plan, especially if you subscribe as a student, as they withdraw the full membership when they see fit and the automatic renewal is set by default. They won't let you know in advance and the price difference is +100%. They practically don't refund. It's best to block them directly from your bank and only pay when the time for renewal comes. Be extra cautious.

Advertisers that it gives you scholarly articles, but they are only articles that individuals have uploaded. Forces me to have to upload my own papers just to get access to others. The articles are not peer reviewed! Nor are they from verified research papers that people have submitted to scholarly journals! Articles are not trustworthy to be written by experts! Many of them were written by high school students!!!

It's been good to me so far. I am looking for a complete Bible not labeled any version. Once i find it. I'll upgrade this to a 5 star but for $ 1.00 the work they put into it is very helpful and beyond helpful, its relieving.

Great app. Just one thing though; when trying to highlight text the highlighter tool does not show up and I have to close the paper and reopen it. Other than that small little thing it's an amazing app that I use just to get a better understanding of academic writing and if I can get something that relates to what I am studying even better!

The rating is not for the quality of the app itself but for the following reasons. I get notifications of publications mentions by someone who has the same name as me and has around 1750 mentions. The standard email says they are trying to improve their notifications and give several options if you click the "this is not me" link which I use every time. I can't even see the notifications without paying. I have tried using the contact us link to no avail. Absolutely fed up with it!

Honestly, this is one of those apps I would highly recommend for every student/learner looking to broaden any aspects in their educational journey. Now, I haven't exactly gone through every single feature of the app, but so far I'm loving the experience. I especially love the recommendation feature. It has really helped me a lot and I think it's just great that many of the functions require no payment plan to work.
