Bandsintown uses two app permissions, which provides us with some personal data. First, we ask for your GPS location in order to determine where you are in relation to an event you're interested in attending. Second, we ask for permission to access your contacts to allow you to invite your friends to concerts they may be interested in attending. We do not store your contacts or your GPS location at any time, and in the case of contacts will only ever display them after you have given permissions for us to do so in the app.

I find a concert that I like but it only lists the 1 band instead of the lineup most of the time. You used to be able to search venues easily by clicking on the venue for the tour date and look at the lineup as a workaround but that was mistakenly fixed. It's becoming harder to find the into for the concert to the point it's better to call the venue.

I reported a bug but they haven't replied back to me. It won't refresh or show my notifications; says I have 56 but only shows 6 from over a month ago. I've logged out & back in, un-installed & re-installed, cleared cache many times, updated the app...nothing fixes it. I enjoy the app for tracking artists. Just wish it would work properly and show the notifications for artist announcements and shows in my area.

App used to work perfect and then one day it stopped opening completely. No matter how many times I clear the cache and force or uninstall and reinstall it has stops me from opening the app. Came back today after months of not being able to use it to see if anything changed and now I get an error message that says "your phone not safety". When it worked it was cool.

Does not work. I could not complete setup with Andoid or Kindle, using 2 different emails, Spotify (where is Pandora?), or my Google account. Long ago, this was just a website where you could subscribe to email alerts. It was simple, but it worked. Now it doesn't. Update: Raised to 3 stars because it finally installed. You have to go to Settings-->Apps, select the app, and manually clear cache and data. Still not installed on Kindle.

I've been using this app for a few years now, and now I can't stand it. It keeps popping up all by itself as running in the background even though I have that setting turned off and haven't opened the app in days. Even force stopping it doesn't help for long. Not to mention how the app itself is not user-friendly and glitches out all the time. Uninstalling it and saving me the headache.

Loved this app for the longest time. Now all of a sudden it is giving me concert notifications from areas far away from me. I am in the United States with my city set and 125 mi radius, so why am I receiving notice for a concert in Winnipeg or the Netherlands? I can't seem to stop these or change them so guess I will have to uninstall. It's a shame because this app used to be really great.

This was my favorite app and now it won't even open on my phone at all. I've tried restarting my phone uninstalling the app opening it from the web or from emails and it won't open. On top of all this now im getting 100 emails for venues in states im no where near. Constant updates for canada and NY and New Jersey etc. Im in California and have a 100 mile radius set. Very disappointing. I've never had an issue with this app until just a few weeks ago and I've been using it for years

Suddenly, a few months ago, the app stopped working. I'll click the app, it'll open for a split second, then immediately close. I have tried clearing cache, storage, and reinstalling. I even got a brand new phone (went from google pixel to a Samsung Galaxy) and the app is still not working. Put in a request with support, and they stopped responding to me.
