I guess the app is convienet, but the fees are ridiculous. Even dashpass has a catch to how much you have to order just for free delivery. Double dash is a great idea for customers to save money, but people don't use good time management & common sense. It should be more organized. If you pick up my food first, it's going to obviously be cold by the time it gets to me. If I placed my double dash order late and food was purchased, maybe let someone else get the second order to avoid food issues.

Incompetent and inefficient thieves. Terrible service. The app works fine, but it's the customer service agents and their policies that are appallingly bad. I've had two instances where one of my orders arrived 90 mins after it was supposed to because they couldn't find a dasher and another instance where my order didn't arrive at all. When I requested credits/ refund for these issues, I was met with "We're sorry, but your order is not eligible for a refund due to our policies". Terrible!

As far as the drivers; I will say that every one of the delivery drivers have been kind and careful. The only thing I think they need to work on, is double checking the order. As far as the app; I think it is reads like false advertisement. I never knew that there is a seperate app to door dash that is totally free. everytime you try to add this app onto your computer or phone you will be charged a fee for joining the doordash community. When i called I was not informed that you have that option

When it works, it's awesome. But... About 95% of the time, I can't get it to function. I tap on icon, I get splash screen, I try logging in, and nothing. "Something went wrong" and I gotta try again. So I usually use the website anymore. Maybe the update fixed the app? Edit: app works now. Now the dashers are the problem. Constantly having issues with picking up the wrong order, delivered to wrong address, or the order just being stolen from the store before a dasher get there to pick it up.

Literally always pissed with the outcome of my order. If the order isn't completely wrong, then it's late. If it isn't late, it has been delivered somewhere else. I can't anymore with this fricking app. The app itself doesn't even work. Nothing loads. I can't see my past orders for the life of me. I check my wifi, it's on, and the page loads and loads. I'm sure if I walked away for an hour, it would still be loading. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried desktop site. Always the same.

Too many times there's been a problem with an order and finding support is next to impossible. I search for a restaurant and if there's more than one, they'll often list the one further away first. Once an order is placed, you cannot cancel it and get a full refund, you can only get fees and tip back. The app is fine, the service is poor.

Doordash is a rip off! I pay for an annual dashpass membership and now, in the city I live, they've decided to implement a new feature called "long-distance fee". Apparently, any order placed to a location over 5 mi away from the requested delivery location has a fee even though there are supposed to be NO DELIVERY FEES! The excessive price hikes and fees have gotten out of hand. If I'm paying for a membership and you keep tacking on fees what's the point of the membership.

Refunds are done incorrectly. Drivers are slow and inconsistent. These food delivery apps lack a structured time keeping system to notify the store/driver on when to cook and prepare the order. And also the fact that some drivers may be far away from the store and will still receive a prompt to pick up your food! It's nice spending money on overpriced cold soggy food!
