I'm glad Eurostar exists. The service is great. But this app is mediocre at best. I've been using it for 2 years ish. Logs me out regularly and without warning. No way to show live delay info for a given booking. You have to repeatedly enter your passenger details, it does not save them. For 3 days I couldn't download my tickets or refresh bookings, just says "please try again, we're having problems". Had to reset all app data for it to work again.

This app has very little going for it. Booking works just ok, but nothing else works well or reliably, especially information on delays. You would think the small number of features would be manageable, but, sadly, no! Edit [June 2024]: neither the app nor the website show a delay for a train that is around 15 minutes behind schedule. How can something so simple be done (or not done, I guess) so poorly? July 2024: New month, same awful app.

This app is a disaster. You now cannot book in the app with PayPal, because when you confirm logging in from the PayPal app the Eurostar app refreshes from the beginning and discards your reservation. Same with getting a password to log into PayPal, or Indeed any other form of payment. So, in short, useless. And for some reason it corrects your phone number to match your starting station, so that you get a new country code and weird versions.

The app systematically breaks close to the checkout and requires me to start my booking again. The fares have then increased and I'm left paying more than £100 more than I was just seconds before. The app tells me 'Your booking has been saved' for the next 20 minutes, but it's clearly a lie. I've had this awful experience, on multiple occasions this year. A user should be able to confirm prices without losing the current saved checkout.

Booked through the app, or so I thought. When the - 20% sale was on. The money was taken (haven't been reimbursed yet) and when I contacted them I was told that I had indeed a reservation but it had been cancelled and I would not be able to rebook with the same discount (I'm sorry but I kinda want my money back before rebooking because if it happens again, even if they reimburse at some point, it'll be money tied up). I found the tone and emails from eurostar quite unpleasant...

This app has a severe shortcoming: it does not even send a push notification if your train has been canceled! I was "lucky" to find out when double checking departure times from NL-UK that I saw my train which was due to leave in two hours did not go. Yes, you get options to rebook or cancel but please notify your customers in this situation (and apparently only on the website - not in the app - was it mentioned that tickets were still valid from Brussels on?)

The Eurostar app could perhaps merit 4 stars (not more!) if it wasn't periodically riddled with bugs. Even their customer feedback form is unfunctional. And all bug reports remain unanswered and unfixed.

App works well but impossible to configure notification settings. I only want notifications on my train, no publicity, or any other offerings. update: It's great to see you are taking feedback. I will happily change my rating once changes are implemented.
