Makes the discovery of outdoor night vision cameras with infrared lights in them very easy to spot as long as the lights are on for night mode (infrared). It has a few different options how it displays the image. But if you've ever wanted to know if there is a security camera somewhere or suspect there might be one mischievously placed watching you then I recommend this app as it can easily identify hidden or well blended in cameras that are almost invisible to the naked eye, as long as infrared

Who knows? I work security, just for fun tried this at work, at night, where I know there are IR cameras all around the building, and in the building. The visual detector picked up absolutely nothing. I know the cameras are on and blasting IR all over the area from different angles. Perhaps it was too much from the different cameras so it all looked the same. Running a pixel so it's possible the phones camera is filtering the light out who knows. Either way this didn't work. FYI Ads every click

Hey idiots, the reason this goes off when you put it near a big chunk of metal is because metal reflects your phones signal. it's detecting itself. It absolutely works. I was really hoping it would detect IR from thermal radiation though, but naw, just the lights from IR cameras and electromagnetic radiation from other electronics or itself. I don't have much use for this device, but it would be good to use in a hotel at night.

The ir camera thing does nothing at all. I turned off the lights and held another camera to it and I still didnt see anything. The radiation thing worked surprisingly, but not to find any cameras. It's more of a metal detector, in the I found where the springs in my bed were, was able to trace an outlet line about a foot away from it and discovered my weights were possibly a solid metal bar camera. It's a metal detector, which I thought was neat a phone could do that.

anyone whos giving 1-2 stars doesnt understand how this works, reality only the IR detector is legit, the reason for the green filter is to better see a IR, however your installed camera phone can also pick up IR without the use of this app..take a remote with a IR led, point it at camera press remote buttons, you will see the IR, with this app the green filter helps your eyes spot the IR signal better, any device using IR will show on screen but will not show just with your naked eye

Too many ads I accept that developers need to fund their work with in-app ads. This app, however, uses a full-screen as upon opening, an ad onscreen during use, and a full-screen as upon exiting. That's too intrusive for me, and I'm uninstalling as soon as I've posted this review.
