The old version was better when it come to the play option in this app. It used to tell you a lot more as far as distance, dogleg, how far to a hazard, I was able to touch a spot on my screen to get that distance. You also could log in more stats, short, long,sand trap, ect. In my opinion this version is a step backwards.

I've tried several golf apps and this has become my favorite. Clear GPS images and easy to add score. Distances are easily marked and has included every course I've been to. There is a wind direction indicator at the top right that was a bit off. It had the wind coming from the wrong direction. Great so far and any improvements would be bonus.

This app was not needed! GolfNow worked great for scoring and the GPS was excellent. With this new app, you can't pick spots you want to hit to as you could on GolfNow. The points are preset on this app and it makes it pretty much useless. Fix this ASAP, or better yet, restore GolfNow as it was, an all in one app with tee times, scoring and GPS! This was pointless! Whatever features you were going to build into this app, why not just add them to a perfectly fine GolfNow app that existed?

Auto course selection and quick scoring were nice. However app required connection through-out round or got stuck on loading screen. That will not work on many courses I play were connections are spotty at best. Also i have several years of data from Golfpad app, so switching apps not feasable without some import feature.

Absolutely terrible platform. Churns on loading and data does not fit screen appropriately. Old platform was easier to use. Tried to load too many enhancements which made the app the "technology the user did not need." Very frustrating. 10/6/2020 Considerable improvement as a platform. Will evaluate data from scores and usability.

This app works well enough for what it is, but I don't understand why GolfNow had to separate it from their primary app. Why do I need two apps on my phone to do what one app did just fine before? Also, when viewing a scorecard at the end of a round, I can't see all of the holes at once. It's a weird side-scrolling mechanism. If I could even view nine holes at once it would be tolerable. Please fix!

Only good thing about the GPS on this app is you can rotate to the degree you want. Can't zoom in, just enlarges the image so the quality decreases. Can't get yardage for where you want to go, points are predetermined and always to the centre of the green so you basically have to guess the difference if the pin location is somewhere other than where the app is telling you the distance to. mScorecard is far superior for scorekeeping and GPS. Sorry GNC but you gotta up your game cuz you're sub par

I am revising my original review below, it was me when I had my old phone and the new app cause me to get a new phone. That part of the review stands, however, with a new phone the app works great. ORIGINAL: Horrible! can't get it to load up, keeps crashing. can't track my rounds. All it wants to do is set up a competition. go back to the old app or give me the option to do it.
