Live Channels ऐप्लिकेशन का इस्तेमाल, लाइव टीवी देखने के लिए किया जाता है. डिवाइस में पहले से मौजूद ट्यूनर और आईपी से चलने वाले ट्यूनर जैसे दूसरे इनपुट स्रोतों के ज़रिए, आप अपनी पसंदीदा खबरें, खेल-कूद से जुड़े कार्यक्रम, फ़िल्में और टीवी कार्यक्रम देख सकते हैं और तुरंत इन्हें अपने Android TV पर भी दिखा सकते हैं.अनुमतियों की सूचना:

I don't know where all of these negative reviews are coming from. I am just using it as an alternative to the native HDHomerun app and as far as I'm concerned it's fine. It's more intuitive than the HDHomerun app and more responsive. With the HDHomerun app sometimes I have to tap my remote several times before it responds but that is not a problem with the live channels app. My only fault with it is it lists Pluto TV as a source but when you try to use Pluto TV there is nothing there. Hence four stars instead of five. But I wanted it mainly for my local channels via HDHomerun anyway. Also, I found at least in my case that it works better if I also have the HDHomerun app installed on my box even though I'm not using it. I am using this app on a Mibox 4.

I don’t know if this app is relatively new or not, but I downloaded to my new tv with android tv built in, and the interface seems really nice, except, it doesn’t actually work with anything. There’s a program guide, which doesn’t display any actual program info!?! Really, I’m really just hoping this is new and a “Work In Progress”.

Simply doesn’t work. Downloaded it on my Philips Android TV and despite me giving the app the correct permissions it refuses to recognise the 160+ antenna channels which are already set up on the TV. The only option is Google Play Movies & TV, and the “Get more sources” option just takes me to a screen with “Live Channels” as an option, which when clicked just returns me to the previous screen again. I was really hoping to be able to replace the standard tuner app on the TV as it’s just awful, but it looks like I can’t.

Using with nvidia shield pro 2019 and HDHomeRun. Navigation buttons are counter-intuitive, hitting back exits out of the app altogether as opposed to going to the guide or something else. A single click and bam! In addition, this app always unfavorites itself, i don't know how or why. If I pin it as a favorite, its gone. If i add it anywhere convenient, it disappears hours later. I wish it worked, I like the guide more than Plex's, and the PIP, but i will stick with Plex.

The app is almost there guys. I gave it three stars and plan to increase it as you guys make the necessary changes I am about to list below. 1) The first menu that should pop up when I press OK/Enter on my remote should be the OSD (On Screen Display). Make it easier to Pause/Play/Fast Forward and Rewind. I shouldn't have to scroll up. Move Favorites to the filter that's on the left side along with "Sports, education, etc.. 2) Language option in Settings. Every now and then I tune to a channel that has both English 5.1 and Spanish Stereo it defaults to the Spanish track. Newsflash, I don't speak Spanish. 3) Multi-room DVR is long overdue. 4) Whole-Home DVR (Pause in one room, resume in another). You can achieve that by making the first Android TV primary and any other boxes added to the home secondary using "Setup Key" like Windows Media Center did. You guys do that and this app will be the best app on Android TV. 5) Allow disable both the "Network Tuner Scan" annoying notification when network connection is lost and the other constant ask of if I want to set a network tuner" 6) Encrypted channels flagged DRM - Google is a big enough company to make this happen.

Having trouble with DVR recording fails (error code 2) with Channel Master Stream+. Channel Master says they can't support the Live Channels app. None of the ways to send feedback about this app seem to work. Google support is no help wither. The Stream+ has two tv tuners. The problem seems to happen when I try to record two shows at once. If I'm not watching and didn't tune to one of the channels scheduled to record, one of the recordings will fail. If I schedule two shows on the same channel to record one after the other while something is recording on the other tuner, frequently the second program will fail and will also cause the program that had already started on the other channel to fail. Several times I checked to make sure the programs I wanted were recording and then either watched something on the dvr or streaming or another tv input. When I went back to see the recordings they had failed! Maybe it is because one program ends at 9pm and the next starts at 9pm and the other tuner has been recording since 8 pm, everything at 9pm failed. This is ridiculous. There's no way to edit the scheduled recording to make it end 1 minute later either!

Same here, I think the application is quite obsolete anod nobody updates it. It's supposed to work on Android TVs (specifically), but it simply doesn't recognize the EPG button on the remote. But the worst thing is that EPG shows NOTHING unless you switch to a specific channel. Then it retrieves the info on current and next program (but only for that channel). This means that if I want to use the EPG, I first need to spend 15 minutes switching channels one by one. So the EPG populates at least something. It's really bad, because otherwise this app is much better than the stock "Live TV" I got with my Philips android tv. If there simply was a developer who would sit down and fixed these issues + the fact that up/down buttons directly switch the channel (instead of showing what's playing on the next channels, without going to EPG), I wouldn't use anything else on my TV.

I like the interface of this app a lot, this is an easy to use application for my parents who use their Mi Box to watch TV, I could easily say it's the only app they use in their Mi Box. On the negative side I think the app logo (on the Launcher) should only be the TV icon and maybe some text that says "TV", also the name of the app (the text that appears below the icon) should change based on the language of the device, for example if it's in spanish instead of "Live Channels" it should say something like "Canales en directo" Also you should add native support for .m3u lists (I know they are used for piracy a lot, BUT there are also many many free public channels that broadcast using that protocol). Should also have a list of free public channels, for example Google could talk with some top channels in each country and have them listed as apps in the Play Store. Also PLEASE add some "shortcut", keyboard press or infrared command to the Android TV OS that could open directly this app, for example some Media key in a keyboard or something.
