I give up. The designers meant well and I believe the user interface I well designed. But the technical problems make this app unusable. NFC reader works fine the first time to change the transport PIN to the 6 digit personal PIN but already the next attempt to see what data is stored on the card reliably fails. I spent 20 minutes turning and flipping the card (no case). 9/10 times, I get no reaction. If I'm lucky, I get stuck in the "weak signal loop". Sorry devs, but this ain't working.

I had trouble verifying my identity in order to sign in to bund.de. It took me more than 10 minutes to see the message I received, which turned out to be a notification about an update to the privacy policy... I had to remove my phone case so that my ID could be recognized. It's strange, though, that contactless payments with Google Pay work just fine with the case on. The connection to the PC app was also interrupted several times.

I tried pairing it to my laptop (Acer) over an hour...no success. All I could do was uninstall and install again and it automatically offer to repair it (which didn't know it needed). The app on the phone seems to work though but it blocked my card which worries me a lot now. I see it happened to others, I wish I had read the reviews before... Please don't release the app until it works very very well or at least warn about the blocking feature. It's very important to us. Thank you!

maybe this works for some devices but I tried for several weeks and not succeed to log in. I am sure this weak app makes many people crazy. People expected a wonderful app for a very important system which tied their future! I should have more stress when I have new message in BUND ID and cannot even check it!! Please do not make everything very complicated. I know all these are for security but sorry your app is useless at all!!

Awful. Just completely, unusably awful. So many bugs. So many errors. Completely unintuitive. Don't bother with the eID Karte. It's not worth the hassle. Printing and posting is much easier than this nightmare of a system.

Pairing doesn't work. Both devices have the latest version and are in the same Wi-Fi. Nothing happens when activating the pairing in the smartphone and going to "smartphone as card reader" in the PC app.

It just worked, simple like that. Maybe in the future if possible I'd like to see support for fingerprint unlocking instead of a PIN. Not a big deal though, worked just fine!

When it is asking to scan the card using smart phones, the window is not hiding. We don't know whether the card is at right place to scan. If we cancel that, the reading window in paired devices is closing. Finally unable to do anything.
