i gave three stars because i cannot use the Persona-Fi option, for whenever i try to use it, it keeps telling me to move to a quiet area. trust me i have moved to a very well sound proofed studio just to do this, but still the same issue. it's really frustrating now. i have seen other users complaining about the same without any resolution from AKG. it seems that you don't really care about the users.

Just got the akg n9 hybrid, great headphones but this app needs some serious work before I recommend these to someone. Other than the fact that the app randomly disconnects. The personi-fi setting forgets everything the moment you switch back to high-res audio so you'll have to do the 16-step test again. The test itself is also flawed, some tone ranges I was able to hear completely, and instead of auto registering at the end of the range it starts the test over again...

Character limit forces me to choose one issue. The only AKG product I own are the N400NC TWS; what a catchy name. Im playing around, theyre actually great-sounding-enough wireless earbuds that I TOLERATE this app. The utterly anemic gesture options (and how finicky gestures are, but thats a hardware issue) frustrate me to no end. Why cant I edit any of the gestures to control any of the music or ANC/ambient functions? It shows a lack of consideration for the customer's experience.

Earpieces are paired, but app doesn't recognize them. Help is no help. UPDATE: FIXED! Support was no help, but the app worked after I did the manual left/right pair. I guess the earbuds weren't paired together at the factory. Procedure (see page 12): with both earbuds in the case and the top open, press the button on the back twice. The light on the case should blink red twice.

I really like the sound of my AKG N400 NC TWS, as quality it is comparable to Sony xm4! When I put them on I can start listening straight away. However, the controls almost never work with my Samsung Note 10+. This makes usability really hard as I have to control playback and volume from the phone directly, which defeats the purpose of having controls in the first place. I can sometimes make them work if I fiddle with the earbuds- try putting them back in the case and out again. I can say more.

Absolutely painful. I've tried numerous times and the App doesn't work. I don't know why nobody has fixed this yet. Last year the app was working when I first purchased these from the AKG website in the USA. And now after changing phones it does not work anymore. It wants to have location permission and then once this is set the app still doesn't work.

Great sounding iem. Terrible app implementation. This is the worst! I mean inexplicable horrible app development ever. To use it I have, pretty much, to uninstall it and reinstall it every time I pair the iem, if I want to use the app. Also there no way, when the app is running to customize the function orñf the iem. The worst ever. No wonder their running for cheap. Desapointing to say the least.

I don't know why this app has so many low ratings. Is the equalizer great? No, since it has no presets, but I don't think that's the primary purpose of the app; it's just kind of an add-on. I'd already paired my headphones w/ my phone before I opened the app, but when I paired my sister's headphones w/ her phone, I used the app, and it was practically instant. Also, and most importantly, as soon as the app found the headphones for each set, the firmware automatically updated. That, to me, was #1
