Required hitting the Sleep button 8 times but there are 5 sleep states. So it ends up turning on the WiFi then five seconds later or so going to sleep. Can't pair with my mini split. Not just useless but a big waste of time. Also too many legal agreements to use my own AC. More than zero. Lots of scrolling a bunch of pages and having to hit Accept. Stupid. Deleting.

You get what you pay for. This is the first AC I've owned that randomly freezes and requires reboots to start working again. Display brightness is too low for anything other than complete darkness and random wifi disconnects and a defective wifi button that works 25% of the time make it a joy to set up every 2-3 weeks. Avoid this brand if you value your time.

Was a decent app, now it wants control, I deleted the app! Was used for window AC unit made by Hisense. It did most of what the factory remote does but not everything. One annoying thing is when you set daily programs, it posts it in the App and takes up alot of space, then can take alot of time deleting everyone out. It would be nice if it just had one notification then added "to the power of" numbers infront of said notifics. Would be great if it controlled home theater receivers & equipment.

Terrible app and terrible air conditioner. The remote control that came with the Hisense AC doesn't work so I am forced to use this buggy app to control the AC. You can't delete scheduled tasks in the scheduler. Every time you open the scheduler it automatically sets auto shut off so you have to remember to disable that every single time you want to go in to change a scheduled task. The AC also has no way to make the fan stay running. It reaches desired temp, shuts off for 2 mins, turns back on.

The app fails to connect half the time, and it lacks a basic Dimmer/Nightlight function that the physical controller does have. In response to the developer's reply: It isn't a WiFi issue. The Hissense window AC unit is the only smart device in my house that randomly refuses to connect and then a few minutes later regains its connection.

9/23/22 - The device does not stay connected update 9/15/24 - I thought maybe my device was failing. The ConnectLife app is failing. It connects when it wants to. When it does connect, it's nice. It does the job, as it's programming is scheduled. It's difficult to use.

it works. sometimes I have to reconnect. But it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I definitely purchase other products from them, currently I'm only using a portable AC. I've paired it with my Alexa, so all I have to do is shout at that to turn the air on and off, change the temperature or the settings. Even my toddler has learned to turn it on and off with Alexa 😂

The scheduler/timer turns unit off randomly. When you go to timer and schedule, the Quick Timer End Time is always ON and set to 2 hours. I turn it off since I have schedules set. I exit the app, next time I open app, the thing is back ON again. Also, remove the Bluetooth intrusive popup! Bluetooth is NOT needed to run this app so why did this get added!
