I am trying to be as objective as possible. This device's failure rate is getting on my nerves. It used to be reliable but has terrible connectivity issue now. Mind you, I am staying in a 130 sqm apartment and I am surprised it always run into connectivity problems. The blue light just keeps blinking and there's nothing I can do. Switching on and off doesn't work. I am using it as a baby monitor and it's disrupting my baby's sleep when I've to switch the camera on and off. Restarting the setting is not user-friendly. There are so many times when I want to throw this device away. Trust me, it's worth the premium getting something else just for reliability. For those getting it for security surveillance reason, forget it. You won't regret spending more on other products in exchange for security over your asset and safety which is worth multiple times.

Worthless for live viewing unless there is no one there. If there is someone there, you can't view live. Slow most of the time. And fails often. It's like buying a ticket to see a football match but they let you in after the match. Now it has also stopped recording videos. Edit: Video recording has resumed. Backdated videos are now available but the past week is still empty despite several alerts triggered almost daily. Really wish app was more consistent and did not require support requests.

Works pretty good for me. Had no major issues adding my NVR bundle. However, it really really needs an events list like all other camera apps have. It's tedious and frustrating to go through each poe camera looking at the motion events and trying to pinpoint the exact second it starts. Especially if I have 20 push notifications to go through. If that's added I'll update my rating. -1 because notifications don't always go to the event, making it even worse.

Initially, there was an issue where I couldn't hear or speak to anyone through the camera. That was resolved, via update but now I no longer receive notifications when someone arrives, which is frustrating since that's the main reason I got the camera. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as clearing the cache, but nothing has worked.

Frustrating. I purchased an chime to use in addition to the home hub chime. But there's no way to add it to the doorbell within this app. In settings->chime there's no option to add a chime. Only options are: existing chime settings, home hub ring, Google assistant, and Alexa. Documentation shows Reolink Chime should be an option but it's not there. Same in the windows client app.

Worst app ever, by far. No matter what I try, I can’t turn on or even access the push notification settings. And on top of that, it keeps turning on email and ftp even though I keep turning it off. Now tell me, why do I need cameras, especially a doorbell camera, if I can’t get push notifications? This app renders reolink cameras completely useless. And this is not just an Android version issue, my wife's iPhone has the same problem

Don't like the new feature in playback which added extra steps in selecting movement type. It's now got check boxes and a confirm button and makes it take 10x as long to select the motion type for playback. It was so much better before this. Hit and miss with the push notifications too. Not consistent enough to rely on being notified.

It's near pointless trying to view cameras while away from home using this app. I've even purchased the home hub on hopes this would make connections better. Nor does the Poe camera connect which is hardwired. I was hoping to get rid of subscriptions with my Ring cams but I'd rather pay and have reliable security. If you need in home monitor/rec. with little to no access using mobile phone then Reolink will be for you.
