So far it's doing all I want! One possible change i could imagine would be to design it for broader applications, since sure it is called "name picker" but it works for picking any number of N Items from a list, so by replacing some icons and phrases it's "looks" could match all of it's other possible applications as well

An impressively complete app. The dev seems to have thought of everything. It's easy to import a list of items from a text file (my list of ABRSM scales and arpeggios has over 300 entries). You can edit individual items in the list very easily. Items can be chosen only once or multiple times, and the app can read out the randomly selected item automatically. A big thanks is due to the dev. Feature request in presentation mode: option to eliminate delay in showing item and remove drum roll.

Exactly what I was looking for! I made lists of my hobbies to randomly pick when I'm bored and can't decide what to do -- the only thing that could make it better would be a widget, so I could have a shortcut to just tap a list and have it randomly select a value without having to go through the app, I would definitely buy it for that feature! 😁

I use the free version to randomly choose from a list of about 50 'names'. It's very easy to set up a list and add 'names'. Unfortunately, and the reason for only 3 stars, the app consistently chooses the same names close together. I've reset the list several times and every time within a few 'chooses' it'll choose one of the same 2-3 names. Several times I've had to ignore the choice and pick another because it picks the same one that often. Not good for several lists using the same names.

This is such a great little app. I searched high and low for something like it before finding it. Clean interface. Easy to use. No bloat. It's perfect for drawing roles in board games, which is the primary purpose for which I use it. I gladly paid for the upgrade, which enables you to add a little graphic next to the list items.

I've been using this app for years at this point, 3 or 4 at least. I use it to help pick restaurants for regular dinners or special occasions (two different lists) as well as to help pick which story I should work on (indicated by working title list or by character list). I've never had any significant difficulties with the program and the back up list process helped me move from my old phone to a new one. This has been an extremely valuable tool to myself and my partner. I am glad to have it.

I needed an app that would randomize items from a list because I play a game that has several variable components. With this app I can organize the variable components into lists and with one click, the app can randomly choose however many items I need from each list so that I don't play the same way every time. No muss, no fuss, no bother!

This app is amazing. Used it to add movie titles to draw a random movie every week for Friday film night. Also created a list for dif meal dishes on random dinner nights, to keep life interesting. The great thing too is that it removes a name from list when its drawn. That way you're not drawing the same name twice. However if you want to keep them, simply tap the reset icon and all names are thrown back into the pool. Great 5 star app, highly recommend.
