Working a little better with the 3.0 series. iOS was finally updated, and desktop versions also. The Android app still won't run in the background really for some reason. I have to manually run the Android app, then my local files (mostly phone photos, my main use case) will sync. Once I've run the app, it continues to run until I restart the phone, then I have to run it again. A little inconvenient, but at least it seems to be reliably syncing photos once I start the app manually.

Exactly what I needed. I've been looking for something like this for so long. It was so annoying that when I added a song on one device I then had to manually copy it to each other device. This does it automatically. Super fast to. My only complaint is it does used a lot of battery on my phone, bit I just turn it off there until I have something new to sync.

This app has gone down hill, it is increasingly difficult to sync files, scan of qr code doesn't work. Such a pity. I have left my old review below, I hope the developers can fix this. Old review: For now this app looks awesome. It could benefit from a dark mode, but im sure thats pretty easy to implement. I just hope that the company offering this doesn't suddenly hit its users with a paid upgrade.

Last Update December 2018! Crashs very often. Too simple. Can't even exclude subfolders from backups. Selective Sync just creates file place holders. Hence not automatically backup any longer. Hence for backup of the whole device not useful. It's a pity. Only one device can be linked, but I've several. That's annoying. Can't rename sync folders. Getting Name collision accross devices. Is crashing all over

I've been using this app for 8+ years on mobile and desktop. It works great on mobile but at some point it started killing my battery even with 0 syncs for multiple days straight. Each day it is at the top of my battery usage list. Using the battery saver feature in app doesn't help. I've had to stop auto starting the app and now manually start/stop it only when needed. It's annoying since it should be a background app that I shouldn't have to babysit. Also the new app logo is terrible.

Sync's battery usage in Android is reporting greater than 35%, therefore I've been charging my phone twice during a day. I've had Sync set as "every hour, sleep on, & battery saver 25%" for the past year or two, and the it's been very good on battery. It's like these settings are ignored in the current version. I did add a second folder recently, but these settings at global right?...help? I've had to prevent start up and exit the app to stop my phone turn off.

Battery issues on Pixel due to how the camera handles deleted files. Can't exclude problem file types without root access. App shouldn't offer a camera backup on this phone if it can't do it properly. Two years later and still awful battery issues.

Really great app that has been reliable and well maintained for years. Today there was a problem when I renamed folders on my Windows PC (running the Windows version of the app) to change the names of folders from upper case to lower case. It appeared to work, but then ".conflict" copies of the folders were created by my Android phone on the Windows machine and it started copying all the data back to create one uppercase ".conflict" version and one lowercase version. Hope this can be fixed 🙏
