Rogue Spanner (Tony)
Awkward unintuitive UI, more resembles a puzzle to work out the whole scanning and rendering process. That's between the random camera disconnects mid-scan. It's unstable and was developed without considering first time user inexperience. High battery drain on S21 ultra smartphone, with the screen staying active during lengthy intense model processing. Definitely better results attained from using Revo pc software instead. Ultimately limiting the scanners portability. Good product bad software.

The Revo Scan POP 3 is a excellent entry-level scanner. While not incredible in terms of software, the ease of use and accessibility of the tool makes it a good starting point for students, hobbyist, or Makers. I would recommend this for a first scanner to develop skills, workflow, and understanding the limits of 3D scanning, but I would be hesitant to use this for high-end or high accuracy work.

The scanner is affordable for people getting in to 3d scanning but when you consider the amount of time and energy and stickers needed to get a scan that works it could take hours before a useful scan is aquired, if I had the money I'd definitely buy a scanner that was more professional and capable of consistent scan success.

Fails to do the most basic of tasks supposedly designed for so I don't have a single decent thing to say of this app or the pop2 scanner. ●can only close app via device hard reset as app blocks all access to top menu, navigation buttons, etc yet offers no option to close or minimize. Rude. ●app used to connect to pop2, since last update it only offers main page & user guide but refuses anything more. Lame. ●before updates it couldn't track 2 consecutive frames. Useless.

Not impressed. The app does function, but there are several places where icons have no explanation or words under them, and its not clear what clicking them does. Using the Mini scanner. I have actually watched all the user guides, but the major flaw seems to be that the scanner loses its lock point and then starts rescanning, basically duplicating point clouds on top of each other, creating merged bodies with a single scan that I cannot undo. It basically makes it impossible to scan anything.

Works good but in the setting part it's not changing to english

Just picked up a POP I know it's an older model but its only for scanning heads for sizing 3d printed helmets. Can't get it to work with my S23 ultra it connects with USB but as soon as I start a project it says scanner disconnected, WiFi option just doesn't work at all, not tried my pc yet but not holding out much hope for it.

Missing logic in app - can't reprocess or process post capture..... Even in the main PC app we have to record again on top of data before been able to reprocess - settings for capture keep resetting - app can't remember you give access to use the scanner.... Not idea for on site shooting App data can't easily be retriev and move to the PC app
