The Birds Are Up To Something
I played this ages ago and got it for my new phone hoping to again. In most ways this fits what I remember perfectly. However I've run into a few bugs(?). after unlucking the farming menu, my rescources list never updated to include the farm rescources. I've tried looking elsewhere or for an option that unlocks a more complicated menu interface or something. But there is none. I cannot see my materials. This bugs me less, but ads also only load 50% of the time when I try, so I've stopped.

I am SO happy to see the classic version of this game is back. I love the graphics, and it has a huge variety of aquatic life and customization options. The "Episodes" are great additions. There are paywalled creatures, but many are animals that don't belong underwater, so I personally don't feel like I'm missing out. There are plenty of interesting and fun free fish. I definitely think it's worth the $10 to remove ads. One suggestion: I wish I could save and load a few different tank setups!

The reason why I was excited about this game was because I liked the original Abyssrium game but it got too complicated, cluttered, and there were too many unnecessary elements. I was hopeful that wouldn't be the case for this game and it would stay simple, but now I am worried it is going to be the same considering the latest update. I like the new fish added but that's it. The mini games are unnecessary, and so is the habitat feature and it requires too much coral-which is hard to get!

A Good Reboot - I am very happy this game has been *mostly* restored to its cozy state. I played at launch years ago, but Tap Tap Abyssrium became a bloated mess. Some feedback/suggestions I would love to provide for Classic: Replace the right-hand side mini games with the event (Halloween, etc) tanks, letting the game feel a little more connected and alive. The mini games feel out of place. the habitat decorating one is good, and it makes sense for the game.

It's relaxing to look at, but with the p2w events, the amount of quests/achievements that require watching ads, the scarcity of pearls, Abysmal episode currency and resource harvesting rate, don't expect to really have a variety of fish unless you're willing to mass watch ads to get there. There's also an issue with event buttons just becoming unresponsive but still taking up screen space, like the fish merging event for example, just today it's stopped responding when I tap but takes up room.

I was really disappointed to re download the original game only to find over monetization and really annoying push for ads plus I really wanted to restart but there was no option to restart so when I saw this, I was, happy. I saw my opportunity to get a new save and I took it. I regret nothing, I will watch ads if I see fit and they are not intrusive! Call it bias but I'm happy to have the simple game back.

Needs some serious work. The fish animations are not as polished as they should be. Frequently I see fish get stuck and end up spinning in circles near the bottom of the coralite. The UI is also becoming increasingly more cluttered as I continue to unlock features of the game. The music is nice, sure, but this game really just kind of seems like a repeat of the original game. Really hoping the game improves soon.

A lot of content is hard-locked behind watching ads. I have network wide ad blocking, which makes this inaccessible. Also, while most of the "lol actually this is an ad" buttons in the game are denoted with the play button icon, some buttons have no such marking. "FREE!" then you click and it's an ad, or in my case, it spins for 30 seconds trying to load an ad before getting an error. Also, poor translations. "Make clownfish fish of the type 5" etc.
