Edit for lack of needed update: It used to be the best. It loses a lot in options. Needs a repeat function. I can (no longer) use it for most of my media. It can't pull media from other 3rd party apps. It needs an option to allow more access. Not a requirement, but an option (for those that would like it to run fully) to access media from other apps. I understand you were trying to respect the users privacy. I appreciate you for that. Yet, this app has fallen behind on usability.

It's a good video player for 360° videos. However for some reason it doesn't play all 360° videos properly. I can only play my raw videos from OBS, but once I render them for saving disk space it doesn't let me to watch the video in 360° mode. Injecting metadata doesn't fix an unsupported video file. Other vr media players have no problem with playing my rendered videos, for example on my VR headset it works fine. So I think it's just a software problem of this app and I can only give 3 stars.

I like this app a lot for the basic uses I have for it. Can watch VR videos or even bring photos to life with it. I wish there was an easier way to cycle through images/videos. You can navigate via arrows on either side of the screen but this is very difficult if your phone is in your VR headset.

Great app! A much better app than another app of the same name. More features and better viewing angles. I like that you can view photos in portrait mode as well, and it's full screen. Best 3d viewer app I've tried so far.

Very good...The only annoyance Ive had is the "compass view" with 360 panorama photos. No matter how I manipulate the image or write the Exif or Xmp, VRMediaplayer always gets it wrong....when image centre is north, VR' has it as anything but. (And my compass IS calibrated accurately...) Is there a tip for this? Added aha I found it. If not aligned to north, just rotate image to correct direction with finger and thereafter, motion sensors will move the image agreeing with "reality"...

Mid. This app used to be so good, idk how you managed to break it. Things you can do: 1. Enable configuration of vr player by scanning headset qr code. 2. Enable on-screen pointer/controller (like Playa VR). 3. In picture mode, enable navigation & slideshow (it sucks to have to take off the headset after viewing every single photo. 4. Add more controls to video mode, like A-B repeat, playback speed etc. 5. A web browser would be nice. Do all these and people would gladly opt for a paid version.

The only good mobile app that can do this. Would love to see some dlna support so I can watch videos from my NAS

Video quality is the best I have seen for cardboard players. However, there is no on screen controls for cardboard players with the click button feature except to move the focal point. I would glady pay the $5.99 for the basis expansion if there were click fuctions screen controls like a video time line to jump spot, pause, play, ect. If there were a zoom function, A-B repeat and slow motion I would gladly pay $15. I will keep using the ok PLAY'A VR cardboard app until this one gets up to speed.
