I only use this app for a visual on pitch accent, which it does very well. Combined with a dictionary like Takoboto and Forvo (to hear native pronunciation examples) + an app for me to record myself and listen back to it, I've been able to improve my accent and listening skills a lot! I highly recommend this app for the convenience of an offline pitch accent visual :)

The app would be more good than before if the dev inputs the particles', interjections', and slang words' accents. And also there will be more nice ones to use if the words are not included in the app but when the ai would show the words with other words such combinations with particles with accent patterns. Example for これ＋は which would be こ／れ―は 花 は／な＼は) 鼻 は／な―は And also accent patterns for the words which are お and こbefore words, and Moreover with particles again 名前 な／ま―え―は お名前 お／な―ま―え―は

I've been using this for about 5 minutes, but what I can tell it's that this app feels very sluggish to use. "As a user, when I hit the pay button on an entry, the app hangs in a lagged state before playing, but I expect the audio to play instantly" as a temporary workaround I would like, at least, the app to show me that the audio is loading (maybe switch the play button to a spinner) Tho this feeling of sluggishness happens through out the hole app.

Hello there! How are we supposed to know if the particle attaches high or low? Without listening to the sentence at least. Now the app is pretty good, it's simple and easy to use, but there's that one major issue. Please add either a particle in a different color, a number indicating when the pitch drops or add the category names (heiban, atamadaka, etc.) or better yet, all of them! I would absolutely adore this app if this improvement was made! I look forward to future updates! :)

Legit one of the best apps for keeping track of words you learn as well as viewing their pitch accents. The translations are super accurate and the ability to save favourite words is so helpful. I seriously love this app it's been so useful to me. I find it incredibly hard to use apps like Anki to keep track of what I'm learning and reviewing words and this app is sort of a half way point to see what you have learnt any time you like rather than with reviews in flashcard apps. Thank you!!!

The app works really well at what it's supposed to do. You can search for words and their pitch accent really easy with their meaning. The only bug I have found is that it stops whatever music you're playing when entering the app for some reason 😅. All in all I highly recommend this app, and if you feel like you have something better please send it to me.

It's really helpful and clean app! Especially with the tag and memo functions. It will be really helpful to: 1. Add (backup) my sets/ tags on words. 2. Give the ability to share tagged-words between users 3.Add (search by accent type) function. (and maybe limit or control the contributions). I would make it my first source to learn Japanese vocabulary if it has flashcards quizzes to check my progress. Keep going the nice work!

I found that the apple app store had plenty of good free accent dictionaries but my options have been limited since I switched to android. I'm glad this app is also available for Android because it's exactly what I need - simple, easy to use, and has the accent information I need. So far it's the best Android app I've found to use as my everyday Japanese accent dictionary. Thank you!
