A security (relevant) app which cannot open or close our garage door without permission to access the phone's location, but does work if that location is turned on and off again within 3 secs (gps reception takes minutes). Strange logic, flawed implementation ? Please change it as it lets Google collect more data.

App works well enough but you can use it on only one device at a time. If you want to use it on more than one device, they scalp you for £7.99 for each additional key. It must cost them next to nothing to generate any number of additional keys. Not what you would expect after spending several thousand pounds on a garage door. I ended up buying a Meross wifi control unit on amazon for £30 which plugs into the Hormann control unit. It works very well and can be used remotely. The developer always responds to this type of review with a cut-and-paste reply about the money being used to fund the app's development and taxes. I figure it's a bit much to expect customers to pay separately and additionally for the manufacturer's app development program - this should be a running expense borne by the business.

Terrible app. 1. They never send you confirmation emails after registering, if you forget the address you've used (on a catch-all domain, for example) - your only option is to reset the device and loose all purchased keys. 2. You can't register on anything other than a common android phone. I have an android nav system in my car, and the "register" button is just not visible on a screen. First time I see such a terrible UI layout. Outsourced to idiots...

Just paid over £2k for a door with the fancy Bluetooth motor and Hormann only allow one user. They want £7.99 per extra user. What a scam. 2 physical keys are included with the door, so the least they could do is include 2 soft keys to use as an alternative for people who don't want to carry around another physical device that is more likely to get lost or accidentally triggered. Another money making scheme.

Unable to scan QR code on device. Even if it worked, charging for virtual keys is nonsensical. Bluetooth pairing does/should not require an internet connection or backend server. How do you think your Bluetooth headphones (or anything) work? Given the cost of physical key fobs, I would consider just replacing the door opener. It will be cost effective in a few years once you've lost a fob or two.

15/08/22: The latest update has caused the garage door to error. Re-learning the door, all positions are corrected, hand transmitters work fine, but when using the app and Bluetooth, even after clearing the Bluetooth memory 19-02, keeps causing the "05" error, and door in incorrect open position. Conclusion is it is due to the recent update to the app. 22/08/22: Bug fix update on app today has resolved the issue. Thank you for fast acknowlegement and resolution, resulting in improved rating.

Worked perfectly for 5 days, now I can't get in my house because the app says I'm out of range stood outside the door! Emailed them, not reply yet. Not happy. Think getting more remotes is a more reliable but expensive option! Could also do with knowing in the app if the door is actually closed! All Bluetooth and GPS is activated.

Would really like the app to be able to see if the door is open/closed and light on or off. The notifications are annoying (even after i closed it) as it keeps telling me my garage is nearby - I do know where I live and where the garage is. It would be more helpful if the notifications told me the door is opening/closing.
