Back when I used this app in 2016 it was a pretty cool app. Not now!!! I would like to get the best deals without having to become a premium member. I am one of those people that it is ridiculous to pay $9.99 a month. I tried using a deal to get 8 cents off a gallon twice and got a lower amount. It occurred to me u have to be a premium member to get the better deal. This app sucks. Non premium members deserve deals just a well as premium members. VERY UNHAPPY😡😡😡

Please offer a cheap, paid version as an alternative to get rid of ads. Gasbuddy has gone downhill now that Google ads pop up at the bottom of tye Map view. When the ads are loading it causes the map to jump around or the stations icons/prices to disappear temporarily and it's very annoying having to wait for the map to update and repopulate multiple times while zooming in or out on a station and roads, even worse in low signal/data speed areas.

Very scummy when you try to do one of the main functions of the app, reporting gas prices, and the ad takes up half the page and you have to carefully scroll the top half just to report a diesel price and not click on the ad. Update: Banner ads are unnecessarily still taking up over half of the page. Can't even scroll out of it. Have to back out. These are just banners with extra white space. Stupid. Fix this!

Edited to deduct 3 stars. I've jumped through hoops to get the gas buddy credit card, link my checking account, find and activate deals, only for the card to come up as declined. I then have to use my regular debit card for the same linked account that was somehow declined. Happens 3/4 times it seems. Saves money and works almost every time. What's not to like? Good job. Smart app.

Used to use all the time to find cheapest gas. Now the closest station to us that we often use has dropped off of the "filtered" list. We never set filters and have tried to change existing ones. Local Wawa station that often has best price has dropped off list too. I'm eady to delete app after years of use.

The app is decent except it does the same poor job with judging distance Google maps does. It tells me gas stations are 15 miles away that are on the other side of a mountain. Sure it may be 15 miles direct line of site on a map, but most people have to drive on roads. I am not able to drive through a mountain especially if no tunnel has ever been built. The same applies for intervening canyons, lakes, and other obstacles. Could leave you empty in the side of the road.

Works great on my Samsung A71 phone, but just installed on my new Blackview Tab 9WiFi and it jumps back and forth from portrait to landscape. Not sure what is going on, but it is now rendered useless. Just had to remove GasBuddy from my Tablet. Don't know why it didn't work, but the flipping from portrait to landscape mode makes it useless.

I don't understand how to search along route. If I type one letter, it searches. Wait for the search results with one letter, then you can add the second letter, it automatically searches, results, third letter. How is this convenient? Then the pop ups start and it rapidly scrolls and flashes, but too fast to click. Like it's a whack a mole game. This is useless unless you're only searching in your neighborhood.
