I had an accident and guess what!!! No footage. Both the Record and wifi indicator lights were both on, but no data. For some reason it just stop saving back on September 13th. 10 minutes after my accident, recording as if nothing happened. 11/14/24 - Pulled over for an "invalid lane change" and guess what...no footage! There's footage from earlier the same day, but WHEN YOU NEED THE NEXAR DASH CAM IT IS NEVER WORKING! I witnessed an accident 3 months ago and I wanted to show my wife but nothin

I like the app because it's nice to have a recorded video that I can control on my phone. I HATE this app because you constantly have to make sure the app is on and working for recordings to happen. You can't drive with a free mind, relying that it'll record. I almost got into an accident. Went back to see the video? And it never recorded because the app had logged me out completely. Very unfortunate. Overall it's nice to have, but it is unreliable. And it doesn't do good to your phone battery.

The dash cam itself works great. The app is the issue. If I don't manually press "stream" on the app, sometimes only like half of my drive is recorded to my phone, sometimes only even the last minute of my drive. Another issue is the interior cam. It works fine when I press "stream", but when I finish my drive and look at my clips, I can't find any way to see the interior cam footage at all.

Can no longer playback recorded video in app unless actually connected to the dashcam. I always get a "route not available. We have no gps data for this drive." Message. It did NOT use to be this way. Also uploading to the cloud is no longer available. Deleting old videos is such a hassle that it often makes the app crash.

Camera works great. However, if you turn on the ability for the videos to be saved to your phone, your phones battery will die in a very few hours. I have to turn that off. It seems when the vehicle is parked, the app is still using up the battery on my phone for no reason. I have to make sure the app is not running in the background or my Android phone dies in like four hours. Usually my phone lasts more than a day on the battery. This is not acceptable and has been a problem with them fo

It records well, but I turned off audio and it still records audio. If you don't want your comments recorded, this may not be the camera for you. Additionally, if you need help, forget it, you will not be able to ask your own questions to customer service. You are only allowed to select certain questions and an AI will respond. Being able to cut a section from a recording is nice and convenient. You can easily share that section or the entire drive record. The support link provided was no good.

Absolutely useless!!! After a bunch of hardware problems, I got the thing working and thought it was all good as I drove around daily. However, when I finally want to get a video, this piece of garbage is absolutely useless. At first I thought it was my android phone, but my spouse's iphone doesn't do any better. In android, it keeps trying to fetch clips (indefinitely) and won't let me download a video because it hasn't downloaded the clip. In Apple, it didn't even record the entire video.

I have lots of issues with this app. It crashes every time it tries to download offline video (recorded when the car was parked). It also doesn't record smoothly or consistently even when connected to the camera. I have gaps and stutters in videos which make it useless in case I actually need a recording of a specific moment. This isn't a good product and I don't recommend using them unless they fix these fundamental issues.
