On two occasions it didn't pick up that I was at a Caltex station, force stopped it, still the same. Made sure location services was active, had permission and functional by checking Google maps. Even restarted the phone. Much to my embarrassment with a queue of people behind me. Not on Caltex! The times it does work, it's actually quite good though.

Excellent customer service. I am the person who usually takes the longest time at the counter, as the queue gets longer behind me, trying to navigate the app. I certainly appreciate the staff's patience and willingness to help navigate through the process. A big shout out to the staff at Motueka Caltex and to other customers beware of the woman who continues, even now, assistance navigating the app! Ma te wa!

This app used to be great but the patchy location services connection is terrible making the app at times impossible to use and frustrating at other times. The app also asks me for feedback which then just errors out. I've used this app on several phones and it seems that on Android phones it's just unreliable at best.

As described by SOOOOO many others here. The latest update seems to have screwed it. Can't see my latest Discount amount. Tried uninstall, and now I can't get it to reinstall. An endless loop of emails and retry. The support is non-existent with the usual, "sorry but it's been referred to our App team" and up to 3 days wait. I need fuel now, not in 3 days. If I can get the Z App to work, why isn't this a clone of that App?

Like several others I was unable to verify my email address. I also tried: a different email address from a different provider; and a different web browser. I haven’t seen a useful solution on the app website or in a Caltex response to similar 1* reviews. The instruction in the app to ”Please open it on your phone to verify your account. Then you’re all done.” is incomplete because you have to click on the link in the email.

No password or any kind of security on the app yet you can load a credit card and use the app for fuel payments. This has to be the worst security of any app eith pay functions I've ever had and using it is most likely a breach of your bank terms and so you would not get refunded if used fraudulently by someone else. Do not load any payment options on this app!!!!

It took the app about 3 minutes after I arrived at the hutt Rd station before it realised I was at a Celtex station, even though I could see in Google maps that the phone knew where I was. The app does not seem useful if it can't work out when I'm at a station. The Waitomo app works perfectly

Never locates that you're at a station the first time. It usually takes 3 times of closing and opening app before it knows where it is. The last time I used the app I open and closed it 5 times and it didn't work. The QR code is all it's good for.
