The old app might not have been perfect, but it was still infinitely better than this new version. It's super slow and buggy, often resulting in tapping on the wrong thing. It's also not exactly good looking. How anyone thought this was ready for release, I honestly can't understand.

Very bad customer support. I tried to cancel my subscription, but there was no way to do it. I requested several time the assistance of the support to cancel my subscription with no feedback. Now they want me to pay the renewal and they are harassing me sending emails saying my payment is overdue...while my access is blocked. Any app will cancel your subscription if you remove the payment card which is obvious not internations though. So be careful don't pay a subscription and get stuck like me.

[Update:Nobody ever contacted me. "Great" customer care.] I was subscribed until a year ago when I started to get too many messages from men, looking for romance. I cancelled my account. Now I thought maybe I'd give a 2nd chance to this app. I tried to register 3 times - all the times I get rejected and get a general answer or get forwarded to a completely unrelated department. Customer service are completely useless and unprofessional. My advice is: FIND A BETTER APP, BRING UR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

They have a lot activities but, most of them, are with just a few people and not from my age group. Besides that, I started using the app with a free trial premium and, after it ended and although the payment was refused from me, they made me pay 120€ because I needed to cancel earlier, even though I didn't use the app and neither went to a single event.

The UX design needs fixing. When you click on a notification from the ap, it doesn't take you to that topic. You have to go searching the app on your own to find whatever the notification is for. Also, I don't understand why the "my events" tab doesn't show the events I'm hosting as a consul. I have to go to "in-person" events. I also don't get notifications when members post in the comments for my events.

There's no incentive or motivation to get people to respond to your contact request. Unless you are lucky or find someone on the app that you already knew in person, you may end up sending hundreds of requests but never hearing back from anyone.

I registered to internations hoping to meet expats in in tianjin, china as I haven't seen a familiar face here in months. The app only asked for my email address and some other superficial information. Then they arbitrarily rejected me without explanation. I wrote them an email asking why. How could they reject reject someone just by their name and email address? They never answered back.

they don't refund if you have forgotten to cancel your membership and they keep charging you even if you haven't been on the events for years. The quality of people coming to the events is very very poor. Stay away from these scammers. Their business model is to grab as much money as possible, not building communities. It's a money grab. Don't touch even with a 10 meter a barge pole - you better meet people at your local coffee and you will not be wasting your time and money!
