Update: Sept 19, 2024. App still doesn't recognize any of my events from Google calendar. But it does say happy birthday. I really miss this app... :( I too love this app, but was having the same issue when it didn't refresh daily. i scrolled down past "calendars" to ..."calendar applications" - chose my calendar app from here, and it works again. kinda confusing but just scroll to "Calendar Applications" under config.

I love this widget but for some reason it has stopped showing the birthdays calendar from my google account. I have no idea how to fix this

I've been using this app for a good couple of years now on a variety of phones and couldn't imagine my life without it. I recently got a new phone and since installing it,the app has just been a total frustration to use. It is so bad I am now looking for an app similar to the initial Smooth calendar because if I have to continue with this version I'm sure to loose my marbles.NOT consumer friendly at all.

Uninstalling after using for so many years. So glitchy now. Every few days the widget just stops. It shows the previous day or 2 or whatever and will no longer allow me to refresh to the current day. I have tried every combination in the settings and nothing "sticks". Reinstalling the widget works for just a few days then it just locks up again. I'm so tired of having to reinstall the widget. I hope there are smarter developers out there to discover because this one is terrible now.

When I saw the widget I wanted to have it. Then I spent hours with configuration, horror. I connected three calendars. It was not me but the app to decide if and when each calendar appears and with which color. You can disable the icon. It really disappears, but the area stays not used. Next lost time till I desperately tried restart. Pain.

This is my first review. I really like this app. It has made life a little easier. Once you work with it for a bit you can really customize it. For example, I have things that are coming up the next day in yellow font which turn green the day of. It doesn't need a lot of permissions and it does what it says it does. Function over fashion. If your expecting fireworks and blinking lights when you touch the screen you'll be sad but if you want an app that works great, consistently, youll be glad.

Requesting two additional features in the new version. First, option to separate date, time and title with one space instead of fixed column width. My entries are mixed between full day and timed, the column style display leaves empty holes and I don't like the look of it. Second, feature request for adjustable space between the lines. By the way I purchased premium version, but didn't see any changes even after restarting. Hope you can mention what they are in the description.

New update. I have down rated this because it totally doesn't work and is not updated. I found a new app: Your Calendar Widget. It is better! Updated the app and now slows everything on phone down. Also can't configure as before. Removed the app after a year of use! After the fairly quick rollback, the app works again just as it always did. It is back to five stars. A couple of the new features might be nice, but the overall usefulness of this app is great just as it was and now is again!
