No problem with any update. There is chinese cjk version. It is quick even with 2 languages on same screen, user friendly, the backup and sync is also amazingly great. I would like to add after using this for nearly 20 years. I love this. I have made a lot of notes here, sync with other devices. This is the best bible app ever.

This was a great app - NOT NOW!!! I like the way the highlights, bookmarks, & notes work, and that I could import/export the data. The problem is that the import/export DOES NOT WORK!!! After getting a new phone, I couldn't add all of my highlights, bookmarks, & notes. I even uninstalled this app and reinstalled my older version with my backup .apk file. With the old app on the new phone, I added a test HL, BM, & N ... exported the file, deleted the test info, tried to import the info... NOPE!!!

2018: I've used this app for about 4 years now. It's an extremely well-built app with no problems for me. I use it daily and appreciate the color settings that make it easy on the eyes. UPDATE 2024: I've had two iPhone users ask me about this app. They loved it so much that they wanted to download it, but alas, there's no iPhone version. Definitely one of my favorite apps hands down.

I couldn't be happier with this app if I tried. I've even had tons of fun adapting translations in my language for it, and even using the functionality to include a translation with a Bible commentary as footnotes embedded in the text. Quick Bible is fast, easy to use, very complete, free, ad-free, and very customizable. I recommend it so much I'm even going to teach how to use it at a theologian's congress next month. Really, kudos to the developers. The only thing it's missing, and that I'd love to see included, is a way to import dictionaries and link words to dictionary entries.

I LOVE this app. But I wish I could have the old way of getting to a scripture back using the grid ... list of all books ...list of all chapters in the book ...list of all verses and you go directly to the verse chosen. I hate scrolling through a chapter to get to a specific verse after having the other method of reaching a verse quickly. Please let me know if there is a way to get that feature back. I loved it. I LOVE all the other amazing features.

Awesome love it the apps is helpful even if you don't know the bible books and need to quickly jump from one book to another. Thank you very much I love it ********************** stars 🚩One of the negatives of this apps is, when you install it on a second device and try to sync it, it gives a message that your information is incorrect. Contact the apps developer for assistance is useless😢😢😢 🚩Still praying they response to my e-mail🤔

I've been using this app for over 6years. And not just me; two of my brother's as well. I've changed phone's like 4times but I keep finding a way to get Quick Bible back. The 'straight-forward-ness' is so sweet. Not too many clutters/menus/options. I guess sometimes lesser features is attractive. I agree it could use a few more contemporary versions; I don't understand the intecracies of that (probably legal or licencing barriers), but the versions present works for me just fine!

Personally is the most practical, because: 1. The most complex bookmark system, critical for me to include passages into customized defined themes 2. Fast verse search through typing 2-3 keywords 3. Different language versions 4. Split versions To improve: 1. Critical (as I have 300+ bookmarks defined) to have a Search feature also for bookmarks (and instant show the results for part of words etc) 2. (Critical) Same search feature during Add Bookmark 3. Multiselect/cross bookmarks result
