No more headaches. I agree with a previous reviewer that Asus has by far the best equipment and ui/firmware/software in this range. I don't have experience with large business based systems but as far as home/family/personal wifi and networking go... Nothing compares in a similar category and price range. I spent just under $200 on my router and it has all the features I wanted and more. A comparable router with similar features from the 4 other major competitors I looked at was $350 and above.

This app is here just so that ASUS can say their router can be configured with phone. Good luck with that! Workflow is jumbled, app does not support all the features (expressway for one) and labeling is misguiding and confusing. At the end, it boils down to using the web UI that is designed for desktop/laptop on my tiny phone screen.

All of you guys are complete morons. This isn't the app that you're supposed to specifically use in order to configure your new router. Don't just buy something without any knowledge beforehand or you're gonna end up embarrassing yourself once again and get angry. The real ASUS router app is by far the best compared to all competitors, and yes I've had all brands.

APP is unstable and reads "Offline" frequently. Customer service is a waste of time as I was rushed and hang-up on three times. I has to figure it out. Their lost says my older RT-AC1750 is compatible with my newer RP-AC1900. But, the AiMesh node never appears in my AC1750 even after latest firmware. I'm sending it back for a refund because it works as an overpriced extender. I'll purchase another $50 plug-in Netgear extender that's given me zero problems and providems more internet speed.

I could not have setup my repeater without this app. It wasn't easy, tho. Updated firmware thru this app. Then reset again. Then (after uninstalling & reinstalling this app) set up thu this app again. Logged into repeater with a web browser. Switched setting to *Ai Mesh Mode*. Installed "Asus Router" app on phone. Ai Mesh Mode still didn't work after trying to do it thru "Asus Router" app. Plugged extender into Asus router w/a CAT5 cable, worked w/Asus router app. I tried every other way. No.

Great for setup but not so useful for troubleshooting networj issues. For example, the app will indicate the extender is offline which should automatically trigger a "Troubleshoot" button to show. Instead, the troubleshooting menu is buried in the menu options.

How to use this app..... First, install app. Press "set up extender" button on main paid of app. It tells you to do 2 things then doesn't let you do them because the app overlay is hiding android settings. Go back to main screen. Marvel at how there is no way to set up a network map of an existing network. Try button 2. Still no way to set up map. Try button 3 for FAQ. Notice how the app doesn't take you to an FAQ. Rate app 1 star while wishing zero stars was an option and uninstall.

Great, then not. The network tools in this app were fantastic until they suddenly stopped working. Clearing app cache didn't fix, full uninstall/reinstall didn't fix. Disappointing, there's a lot of potential.
