Cannot be used. Doesn't recognize my username. I activated the VPN on the site and use this new username, everything is as they say in the instructions. But no, the login does not work. Their support is completely useless, all they could advise is to activate VPN, despite the fact that I specifically emphasized in the first letter that I had already done this and even sent them a screenshot. My subscription will end in a week. I will not renew, SmartDNS is dead.

As someone who doesn't know much about network settings, and only a cursory knowledge of VPNs, I found this app confusing to use at first. The instructions that were provided to help were for Android v4, even though the current version is 14. So none of the steps matched up with current menu settings on my device. Eventually, I was able to get it to work after messing around in the Android settings, and I was able to access my region-restricted content from Vudu while I'm traveling abroad.

With the release of the current version, 2.1, with support for Android TV, I have amended my rating, accordingly. Howver, pleaee complete the development and publish the app on ATV Play Store. Otherwise, you're giving users no option but to side load the app, which is beyond many users ability. Likewise, pleaee remove the satisfaction prompt that shows upon disconnecting the VPN session. It is truly bothersome. Another request, which is for SDP is to update the VPN server list and add new ones.

New UI looks good, but functionality looks the same as old app. Maybe one UI improvement would be to make a more prominent animation while connecting to the VPN. The current and the old app animation looks subtle and easy to miss. By the way, was expecting the smart DNS settings to be available in the new app since the mobile version of the website looks clunky.

Does not work at all for Android TV boxes. I just spoke to the company and verified this. So beware of wasting your money on this VPN service. You may either want to try to contact them and verify that it 100% works for your "exact" device and model, or you may just want to subscribe to another more compatible service instead.

Using SmartDNS IPs in my router with devices connecting to it was great and no loss of speed. However, using this app on my SmartTV connecting to a faster speed router (that doesn't have SmartDNS IPs in it) is so slow my U.S. channels can't stream. Constant buffering and totally unwatchable.

The last update messed up a lot. The app looks weird and connecting has suddenly become more difficult. I never had to change the country with the old version but now..mots a nightmare and yet i paid a full year subscription. *For the older version please*
