It is what a language learner needs. First and most importantly it gives me chance to practice with very specific segments where I compare myself with the original speaker. The second thing that I love about this app is it contains exciting and memoriable video clips that stick in mind. Third, I had chance to test and improve both my spelling and vocab. I wish if they have a discounted rate for 3 & 6 months similar to the one year rate.

This app is good, but I have one problem. When I pronounce phrases, the app gives me random percents. For example, when I try my best to speak as correct as possible, the result may be all green words with 0...5%. And sometimes when I suddenly make obvious mistakes, it gives me up to 100%. Tried on 2 phones and on pc. Same results. It makes me upset, I am not interested to continue. I give up.

They are really good. But you should think about your available time which you can dedicate to learning to English language. Learning a language is a nosy thing. You should listen, speak and read strange things. Thise course is meant to be the most nosy. It has a right grip at the whole subject at once and you can't do it on the go. It's would be better to be alone somewhere in some silent place.

A great app to learn English. I'm loving to study with it and I can feel my listening and reading skills are improving day by day. I would like to suggest the implementation of features that exist on the website but not on the app, such as the quiz after the videos, and the possibility to hide key words on the speaking lessons. I would love to see all of the features from the website into the app too. Thank you and congrats for the app.

I trying study English with this app. At start it is funny, but on second day I find spech recognition very annoying. It does not really recognise a speech, just check that you said some separate sounds in specified order. So on short sentances you can say completely different frase and still gain A+ score. Without live sessions barely useful application, recognition algorithm still the same like it was on 8 years old web version

This app has a comprehensive functions. From online courses to self guided learning. I've been looking for this type of English app and I found everything I needed just in it. You can simply watch some parts of a movie with a subtitle and each word or phrase in the subtitle is explainable so that you can learn while watching and importantly it's got a quiz test for you after watching to make u sure you've learn new words or phrases! My only suggestion is improving its MiMi chat to give feedback!

Your app is way better than you website. But a BIG problem still exists: sometimes speaking foul language can even get higher marks than speaking the lines. BTW I am also here to comment on your website. It really sucks : I speak clearly and it can't even hear it and tell me to try again. On top of that, even if it records my voice, FINALLY, it just records a part of it(E. G. "Good morning" , only record "good")and then give me an incredibly low mark. (***response: I am using Google Chrome)

This is one of the best apps to learn English I have ever used. One of good feature is each video is short that is less stressful than other apps and easy to continue every day. Another function I like is that once I tap the world that I don't know, I can see the definition immediately. It's really good!
