ETA: Bug has been fixed and app works with zero issues. It even has a feature where you can add it to the quick settings menu. Awesome, thank you so much! Original review: It works, but the app keeps crashing during use. Kind of defeats the purpose when you turn on your phone at night and the dimmer has turned itself off.

The dimming is good and i have got no problems with the shaking to start and stop the dimming. But sometimes there is a software failure I think, as I have to turn on Accessibility Settings for the app time and again, and sometimes even though it shows the accessibility settings is on, the app doesn't work. And the other problem is if I dim my screen I see pixels on my screen with different brightness level greyish or black it differs. I have got Asus ROG Phone 2 btw.

Does exactly what it says. It darkens the screen. You can use different colours for overlay if you wish to do so which is cool. So to sum up you don't disturb your partner that bad with a dimmed screen when he needs to sleep and you still want to read something on your phone. Edit: i still like it but i think there was an update (different symbols now in the app which is ok but the screen is really stripy - it's light dark light dark, it's not very nice tbf but maybe it will be better again soon

Best utility app ever. Very effective interface with a toggle button in the notifications bar and precise increments. You can even customize the hue of the diffusion filter that dims the screen. Helps me fall asleep faster and keep from waking my partner up! Helps my vision strain too.

Exactly what I was looking for. It's like they read my mind. Easy to setup, easy to toggle on/off & change dimness (right in the notifications banner), enough settings to make it custom to your preferences, and very effective. Now my eyes feel so much better looking at my phone at night. I bought the pro version for only 99 cents to support that good developers. Thanks yall!

this app is almost perfect. it dims everything. my issue is after a while of having it (2-4 weeks) it won't allow me to toggle the dimmer back on. i try everything when it happens, i try to use the shake feature, i try to set it to turn on at a certain time, but it doesn't work. i need to go uninstall the app and reinstall it, which is annoying because i need to reset everything to my liking. this is my only issue. i love this app it's easy to use and very useful. i heavily recommend!!

it does its job very well but there are a few improvements to make it a perfect user experience. Whenever i turn the function on, my keyboard and overall phone becomes laggy. I guess it kind of disturbed the phone's performance? Next, it would be better if you allow the notification to always stay in the notification bar and not disappear when the dimmer is turned off. Overall, no ads and easy control, a very good app.

it's a great idea. love how easy it is to use. it's amazing. my only problem is that some nights it won't turn on with the schedule I set. it will turn off exactly at 6 am like I set, but at night, whether it's 8pm 759pm, ECT. it won't turn on recently. worked great for months and now suddenly the last few weeks, it's stopped working.
