Phone hard reset - wiped everything out. Cannot re- connect because I don't know what it wants! The other connected device gives me a keypad, but I don't know what number to put in. The whole system needs to be a little more user friendly instead of relying on the installer to fix everything. Some of us can accomplish the basics of resetting and reconnecting if given an idea of what is needed.

Good all round, easy to use. Not sure why all the negative reviews. As a dealer I use this app constantly, and aside from an occasional need to reboot app(what app doesn't occasionally) it works great for my homeowner's, bars and restaurants. Most I read are subsystems not the Elan app , which points more to the installer , or 3rd party equipment

I have had an Elan system since 2009, and have upgraded the system twice; currently have a gSC10 system. While there are some eccentricities, the system is remarkably robust and flexible. Since Nice Brands bought Elan, they have updated the system and app multiple times, always adding features and ease of use. As of today, the App is more capable than ever and easier to use. It is also more intuitive and has more advanced features that we've come to expect. Still the best system around!

I have used elan for 3 years and I have had issues but finally got it right. Older models hardware were the problem And its all about the installation Note: do an annual maintenance such as updates. I let my elan rep handle it. Ps have a good switch where cameras can connect too.

I think they fixed the license issue since previous comments though it still has issues on the latest 8.3.8 fw. apple devices dont intercom out to phone like it's supposed to. only if app is already opened. otherwise never get push notification. samsung note9 vibrates a single time, opens app and drops call. if i do it again with app open it drops out, vibrates once, reopens and drops call. sonos drivers are still buggy. favorites storing on kp7's doesn't always work.

Seamless integration of the app with home. But not because of the app, but rather the team who installed it in our home. Talking about the app or elan as a product. It's probably the worst available smart home solution. Doesn't work with Alexa on most occasions.The app is primitive. But if you are in a country, where you can outsource the installation process, then they'll do a good job setting it up. It's been 2 years I have been using, there are no new updates, or a fresh look of the interface

Really not worth the money spent. The application is not user friendly at all. It keeps on throwing me out of my Deezer account. Everytime I try to log in to my account with the correct details verified on the Dezzer app, it indicates that the login failed. I also can't see the radio stations I want to tune in to. It only allows to set up or down without telling you on what station you are. The app is slow and there are a lot of glitches. I cannot emphasize enough how much this software sucks.

The system integrator managing my Elan system said because of how problematic Elan is he may stop installing and providing support. It may be fine for very simple setups but it's a nightmare to manage and maintain. The app doesn't seem to follow android programming standards so you will encounter very strange problems due to Elan's proprietary solutions. Like good luck talking to someone at your doorbell if your phone was locked when they pressed the button! The micophone won't be active because Elan doesn't unlock your phone or allow you to do so (and they don't use the notification shade so you can't unlock and answer the call that way either.) Unfortunately if you're browsing for this software you probably already have the hardware so my condolences.
