Worked well for the first 5 overnight sessions. My phone no longer receives temperature alerts. The device will make a sound, but that doesn't do any good when I'm in the house. Probes seem to be quite accurate, but I bought this to smoke overnight and it no longer provides the ability to do so. I have tried all of the fixes listed by the company. Uninstalled, reinstalled, updated the app, force closed the app. Nothing has fixed it. I recommend not buying this.

No notifications! Be prepared to lose your meat if your smoker goes out! That is one primary purpose of this. Set up a custom cook temp and click done but it keeps saying no preset. So what is the point of an app then if the two main things I would do are Broken. Been like this for years that have had it. Never once had an alarm go off. It is 2024 now. They don't bother to fix it.

Every time they change their app I have to reset and reconnect my devices. I'm not sure they realize they can just update an existing app without publishing a wholly new one but it's incredibly annoying. They still refuse to publish customer-accessible apis for their products which is also extremely annoying.

Wifi is terrible and always have to uninstall the app and start all over again just to reconnect so I get notifications. Always make sure notifications are allowed and always has permission, but keep having issues getting notifications. Getting worse and worse. Would rather spend the extra money for something better than this!!

When trying to add alarm presets, it is very frustrating when trying to get the preset to actually save the settings that you desire. Every once in a while it will actually save the range you desire, but most of the time it will not. It is so bad and frustrating that eventually get to the point where you just want to turn the alarms off but then there does not seem to be a way to do that. Switching off the, "Device temperature alarm", does not keep it from alarming. Hardware is good, app is bad.

If the user has to spend more than a couple of minutes trying to make a Bluetooth connection, then your product has failed. First on my Galaxy S20 I was unable to pair. I then tried my Galaxy S9. Same result! Countless steps over the next 40 minutes without success. At times, the app would say a device was found and would give me the option to ADD, but on clicking the ADD button, the app would go into discovery mode and then fail. Round and round in circles, incredibly frustrating.

App has connected to a smart camera floodlight I don't own. It's not even an inkbird device! I try to open this device from this app, it just shows a blank box. I can't delete the device. I opened the message center and I can view the historical images of somebody else's back yard!! Worst of all it keeps sending me alarms about this device whenever it detects movement! There are some good things about this app but so far I am not impressed. Do better! Stop releasing garbage before it's ready!!

Used this app for the first time yesterday while smoking some chickens and, for the most part, it worked flawlessly. Once my probes were in I was able to do everything I needed from the comfort of my air conditioned house. My only problem, and why I didn't give 5 stars, is I can't pair my Inkbird device to my phone/app via Bluetooth and had to use wifi, which is limited to 2.4Ghz. Otherwise, it did everything and was easy to set up and use.
