I've been using the tracker for over a month now and I can highly recommend it. It has proven to be quite durable through mud, heavy rain, rolling around, and play sessions with other dogs. The app might not have all the bells and whistles but in comparison to other subscription based models 60€ for 2 years is actually a very good deal. Having a little extra peace of mind when letting your dog off leash is really where you get your money's worth and the integration with Findefix is a nice bonus.

I'm using this tracker now for a few weeks. I use it outside Germany. It functions absolutely great! Accuracy is pretty close and I could follow her tracks very well. I can see my location and hers so I can see where she is from my stand point. Battery last about 3 days of 1.5 hrs tracking. I'm very happy with this tracker and it is for free too! Sublime!!

The functionality is getting a lot better but still not perfect. Still the refresh rate is not good. It is ok when the dog walks but when the dog runs a big part of the distance covered is lost. Also an issue is that when the dog plays in one area and runs around the recording stops. Good work on the improvements increase to 4 stars. To reach the 5 stars I need to see more improvements and to be able to use the tracker in Greece.

The Tracker App will not work with with older Android phones. Minimum requirement is Android 10 as I found out. I use an old Android 6.01 as an outdoor phone for such tasks and was disappointed when the app could not send me the SMS containing the activation code. The app simply displays " Wrong Mobile number" in that case and you will be unable to use the Fressnapf tracker device with that mobile device. I got this information from their customer support service. 3 stars since i can not use it.

Very basic application (Minimum Viable Product). Tracker often has issues entering and leaving "Sleep Mode" or tracking pet post-charge. Tracker has issues activating "torch mode" (long wait, then nothing). Attempted to raise in app through help function, it is however an ai chat bot that only speaks German (not language in my region). Large gaps in tracked position on walks are common (more than 15s, 30s or 60s polling would suggest). No means to export data. Useless"health info" collection.

The app offers everything i need. For me it works great. The activation was simple enough. I am happy with the GPS accuracy and the battery holds long enough. I can even connect the same tracker to multiple accounts. With this app and trackers i do not ever need to worry about my dog running away, it has happened a couple of times and thanks to the app I could find my dog quite fast!

The tracker itself works really well, however the battery tanks so fast it's not worth it. It even tanks when it's on sleep mode and you're not using it. It's a shame because if it actually stayed charged, it would be perfect.

Works so so. The app does not pick up on the GPS transponders fast and sometimes not at all. Setting the app up was a pain. Especially the choice of breed. They have some housework to do here.
