Highly recommend for those who have rented a car and are interested in seeing a lot around the island and learning a bit along the way. A bit corny, but for the most part spot on and kid friendly. Saw way more than we would have on our own and it was very easy to use. It does drain the battery (as the app itself calls out), so be prepared with a battery pack or USB charger.

Awesome app!! We stopped at many places we wouldn't have if we didn't have this app. Great stories about the areas we were in and very awesome music that really set the mood for travel. Worth the price for the tours. Will use again and again. My wife wants one for Korea but this is only for the islands. If you're traveling to the islands and are driving, this is a must have. You won't be disappointed. Much mahalos.

Overall, a pretty decent value, but there are sections that need to be updated as the there were a few things along one of the routes that were not there anymore, specifically some caves that had a visitor center located nearby. It appears someone brought up that land and tore down the visitor center. However, the app worked reasonably well and since I got five tours for $30 and used three of them, it was worth it.

I highly recommend this app! If you are wondering whether it is worth $10-20 (1 itinerary vs 5 itineraries), let me tell you it totally is. It is well made, intelligently done, funny, informative, and makes for an efficient island sightseeing experience. I would have wasted a lot of time/missed cool things if I didn't have it.

This app has been very hit and miss. The tour has trouble synching with the GPS. For example, we started the tour as instructed from Waikoloa, going in a clockwise direction, and the friendly voice told us we were heading in the wrong direction and to make a u-turn. When we did this, it again told us to make a u-turn. When it finally recognized our location, it worked okay on points of interest and on the history of the area. However, not worth the cost and I plan to seek a refund.

Fantastic journeys at our own speed! The app is free and the tours have a fee, but we purchased all 5 as a package for $9.99 - well worth it. South tour had some parts we had with another tour. We just adjusted the tour to what we wanted to see by picking up at a later point. Not tied to someone else's schedule. Do take advantage of some of the recommended stops, especially mac nuts on southern point tour, the shaved ice stand on northern jungle, and Akaka Falls!!!

Took me a couple days to work it the way it should, adjust the direction on what order you take the tours. It's easier if you stay in the order given, and it let's you choose! Using this in combo with the national weather service helped improve our trip. No need to join guided tours if you are ok with doing it on your own time, renting a car and such! Love all the cultural stories and backgound info.

Absolutely worth it ! We found ourselves needing some adventure help and the app was perfect! really easy to hear and follow directions. My thoughts on guided tours.. NOT FOR ME but this was fun the narration is really chill and funny no boring history lessons just really great info. I had accidentally left the app going and we hit one of the spots it started and we both had a good giggle so you could just let the app run randomly 🤣 that's how many great tips/sites the app has. Do it !
