Update: fixed my own issue. If the below happens to you, CLEAR YOUR CACHE for sign ins. Then retry. For some reason, this worked perfectly. So frustrated. Finally got signed in for remote streaming from the Xbox but when attempting to play xcloud, I keep getting the "unexpected account" error. This xcloud portion to play without needing the console was the ONLY reason I paid for this app. My game pass ultimate account is 100% active. Would be 5/5 if someone could tell me how to fix this.

Xbox app for what?? This blows the Xbox app out of the park by miles there is no comparison. Fullscreen-check, full hd-check, no noticeable lag-check, ease of use-check, everything is just better with this app. I keep the official app installed just in case but I immediately purchased the full version of this app and enjoy headache free gaming on mobile. It even allows Xbox 360 games playable through remote play. This app is completely worth it for sure.

Overall, it's very good! Being able to play my 360 titles remotely is the best! I wish touch controls had a feedback option, even if it is the slightest vibration. Works best with controller or mouse and keyboard, but sometimes I don't have them with me, and I sometimes only play 10 minutes at a time. Aside from that, it's really good!

EDIT ads were loud, unmutable and unskippable, not ok. Option to kill them entirely impressed me so much I looked for a paid version to support. Didn't find one; would like to donate soon. By far the best xbox remote. No constant reinstalls just to function. May take multiple attempts to connect. For a spare time project, you did great. Has a wide range of other features like casting and custom controller layouts, but I all I care about is the remote so I'll leave that review to others.

There are a few minor frustrations when using the app (length of time/multiple attempts to connect with a physical controller, app won't work in background in controller mode, media remote/controller two different functions, can't stream Spotify while playing a game) ... But, ITS STRENGTHS FAR OUTWEIGH ITS WEAKNESSES! Overall, an absolute friggin' fantastic app. 6.38/5.00

So far, works great! I haven't looked into all the bells and whistles yet, but I was able to play cloud gaming on my phone 50 miles from my Xbox on my cellular network. On the app with ads, it will let you use it for a bit, but then resets. you have to watch an ad to reload everything. I opted for the full version with no ads. $6 well spent. I found it annoying that the remote play doesn't seem to maintain connection when I switch to a text or phone call. It makes texting teammates difficult.

Not much reason to use over the original Xbox app. The only functional difference at the moment is on-screen controls. Very well designed though, you can tell the developer has passion for this project. An instant win would be if you could figure out a way to let Xbox 360/MS Store work while streaming (Like when you're on PC). Trying to find a way to do that on Android, but the only app that allows it constantly crashes.

I love it. It helps out because my controller is broken so I can't use it. This app comes in handy for when I need it. Then only thing that I don't really like is when you have to watch an ad to connect. But on the flip side the ads aren't very long. One other thing is when you have to log back in but it isn't a big deal. Also the connection timing is amazing. And it stays connected unlike most of these other apps. I really do like this app and I appreciate it. Stay cool guys.
