3 star for how low quality the radar imagery is. The free radar from .gov has crisp imagery to see rotations, hooks, and possible changes that are needed to see if severe weather is over your area. This is not great considering weather sometimes has a tendency to change, and sometimes for the worse. Seeing these changes is life saving. I like the app, but I heavily dislike the low quality radar imagery. 5 day free trial does not resolve this issue.

I have been a trained weather spotter providing observations to the NWS, including by Amateur Radio, for ~ 30 years. I use a number of data sources to assess the status of weather conditions so that my reports of local visual observations, refered to as "ground truth" reports, are as timely and accurate as possible. RadarNow! provides a good, quick, view of both regional weather systems and local conditions. I particulary like it while traveling. It is one of two I have set for quick access.

Stellar app. Absolutely worth the price of Pro version. Support this company! This is the weather app for accuracy. The only one I know of that shows moisture in the air (before rainfall) on radar. I don't use this app daily, but if there is any weather predicted, this is what I use to track rain or storms. It's just done right. It's not a pretty, fluffy app - which I like. It's displays information with no waste, no bloat.

Been going with this app for 5 years now, and aside from the station going down occasionally (which isn't the fault of the app, but the city taking the station down for maintenance and such), I have never had an issue. My go to app to see what the weather is like since it pulls from the NWS stations and gives a more accurate forecast then the news. Love the new updated look, loads much much faster and is easier to read.

It's my go to when we have big clouds or are planning some traveling. Only issue is that it asks me if I want to enable GPS locating services every.Single.Time I open the app. Dev - can you make a "remember" check box or something? The great benefit of this app is the simplicity - you load it, it shows the radar, Now! Having to answer this every single time I open the app detracts from that. I don't leave my GPS enabled on my phone, to save battery. Edit: it has now been fixed as stated below 👏

Not really impressed. I normally use the weather channel app and hoped this would be an improvement. The resolution is not great. Seems to be blurry and/or pixelated. Needs a tutorial to explain some of the functions. The radar itself doesn't seem to be as good as the weather channel app. I downloaded a local news station app for the weather and radar and unfortunately it is better than radar now. I even opted for the lifetime paid version and the only difference I notice is it eliminates ads.

As a year-round camper/hiker/biker through the Midwest, this app has saved my sanity many times. ~ The "Warning" data is excellent & well-formatted. I screenshot weird weather patterns to text to fellow travelers. ~Appreciate RadarNow!'s high quality info. Very accurate & simply-presented HOURLY data. ~ProTip - you have choices: on the hourly data page, switch between landscape & portrait view. Landscape has more data, but Portrait view is good for fast condition-checks. TY!

Installed this app twice and uninstalled it twice. It doesn't load and just keeps saying " Can't reach server database" & "Unexpected error has occurred". After years of using this app across different phones and networks, it's hard to imagine that suddenly, after upgrades to the app, now it's any better for the upgrades at all. Guess I'll just use weather bug.
