Seems to think multiple repeaters that are nowhere nearby are all 11.7 miles away from my location even though the app is getting the correct latitude and longitude for my current location. Tried the steps from the FAQ to correct it, and the result is the same. Not so useful for traveling if only manual searches work right.

What an amazing App, how did I leave home without it. Yagi in car, find a beam heading, work that distant repeater. In a new location, not sure of the repeaters around you, check out the info, put into radio and get chatting. A ham radio operator must have app. Well done

The recent update seems to have broken the location function. My local area now states there are no repeaters.

Pro: The app work great with the Ft-857 and GPS of the smartphone & tablet, placing the closest repeater at the top of the list. Cons: The app does not give you the option to scan the local repeaters. This feature would be good for when HAMs are on long distance drives. This app gets 5 starts, and hopefully the option for a scan would be available for a soon to be released version.

BlueCAT not working with Repeaterbook app. When I press on most repeaters in the app, it goes to a more detailed view of that repeater. On a few of the repeaters, after I press on it, it does not go to the more detailed view of that repeater. Only on those few repeaters, does it switch the transceiver to that repeater. Tried it on two different phones. Same problem when using either of the two phones.

I absolutely love the app, use it all the time on road trips to look for new repeaters and even old ones I have talked on before. The GPS function is the best part. Shows you repeaters in real time as you move. Great for passenger operation. Had a question but couldn't find the email. The question was about database update frequency compared to the site. I know I JUST updated my repeater but was curious how long it takes to update to the app?

This is a great App for Amature Radio operators looking for a repeater to utilize, especially when traveling to new areas. The App provides for user settings to customize important features. The App supports BlueCat. A great addition would be the ability to select multiple repeaters and then export a file for upload to the ADMS radio programming software.
