It's fine as a simple gallery - unless you do what I did, which is empty the default image folders by moving the files into newly-created folders according to subject matter. Simple Gallery can't recognise that I've done this. It still shows image thumbnails for the empty folders, and there is no way to make it recognise the new folders. It turns out that this app is a little too "simple" for its own good.

Installed, clarity is pretty good. Tried to move some photos but there is no multi-select option, only moving 1 by 1. Tried moving 1, it took me through the steps, I chose the folder, it opened up blank with Select. That took me to a pop up with visual instructions for some other app or something to move a photo. Tried twice. Get back to folder view and there's 241 screenshots disappeared. Thanks Uninstalled and won't be instaling any of their apps. Don't install if yu want to kp yor photos

Lightweight, but buggy. Pictures sometimes disappear after moving to a sub-folder for organization, and it doesn't play well with other apps for attaching photos; I have to use Google Photos to browse to the one I want because it doesn't attach if I browse through Simple Gallery. Edit: Really appreciate the developer reaching out to help. Naturally now that I said something I can't reproduce the problem (d'oh). If I notice it happening again, I'll try to get screenshots!

doesn't find every folder containing images, for example: doesn't seem to go deeper than the "camera" folder for some of my phones with sub-folders in camera. *(where ".nomedia" files aren't present) ¶some of these are ratings (review) you're supposed to take-in-stride & improve↓ NOT SEEM rude. I'm switching to SIMPLE GALLERY for now↑.

Wait so there is only ONE setting you can adjust? I get this is barebones but at least an option to exclude folders is necessary (for those with over a thousand MUSIC albums). EDIT: No, even the simplest app can have that function so the review stands. If you thought that was impolite I'd suggest growing thicker skin.

after i delete image files the thumbnails get's assigned to the new image files I've in my phone, the only way to refresh is to clear cache on the app, please fix this. Ofcourse I wil rate it 5 star, and we all appreciate what you're doing, thumbs up for that, I Just put lower rating to get your attention. we expects more simple apps like this from ya!

Simple is better. Would be nice to know the location of each folder, if it is on internal storage or external, without additional steps like checking the folders details or info. A small SDCard symbol on the corner of the folder would be enough. I am using folder mount to link some internal folders to external storage and this would help. Great for old phones (KitKat). Apps like this helps beating the planned obsolescence and electronic waste/ manufacturing polution. Why not on F-Droid also?

Great for basic photo viewing and bluetooth transfer. Plus, it's a lightweight app with no hassles in terms of permissions. Additional review: This app does well in zooming over scroll shots! One thing my default picture viewer can't handle.
