Značajke aplikacije uključuju:
1) Računalo za letenje.
To pokazuje visinu AMSL i AGL, brzinu tla, smjer, brzinu penjanja/poniranja, kut klizanja, G-silu, smjer vjetra, trajanje leta i udaljenost od polijetanja.
Barometarski tlak može se dobiti ili s unutarnjeg senzora ili putem Bluetooth vario.
2) Popis pilota.
Prikaz tipa zrakoplova (ili fotografije), relativnog smjera, tipa tragača i statusnih poruka. Traži se dopuštenje za kontakte ako se koriste integrirane značajke za kontakt.
3) Google karta.
Prikaz drugih pilota, povratnih autobusa, zračnog prostora, usputnih točaka, toplinskih vrućih točaka, tragova leta plus poruka o sigurnosti i preuzimanju.
4) Navigacijski alat za upravljanje putnim točkama i zadacima.
5) Widget za toplinski pomoćnik na karti.
6) Radar za kišu i dodatak za pokrivanje oblaka.
7) Zadaci natjecateljske utrke.
Zadaci su u potpunosti kompatibilni s uslugom PG-Race.aero. Prilikom skeniranja QR kodova traži se dopuštenje kamere za jednostavno dijeljenje zadataka s drugim aplikacijama.
Zvučna upozorenja mogu se postaviti za 'SOS' i 'Retrieve' poruke, blizinu zračnog prostora i FANET poruke.
Letovi se bilježe kao IGC i KML datoteke i mogu se reproducirati.
IGC zapise letova koje je izradio XC Guide prihvaćaju FAI/CIVL za događaje kategorije 1 i provjeravaju ih njihova mrežna usluga provjere valjanosti. Također ih prihvaća XContest.
Detaljna pomoć, na nekoliko jezika, uključena je u aplikaciju.

Love this app. Definitely my go to and recommend fight computer app. The maps are great and the thermal assistant helps center the thermals just that little bit more. The live tracking features are great I can stream my flight to skylines and xc contest. After reading the manual a couple times. The app was really easy to figure out. I just with there was more of a community around this app.

This is a fantastically complete app that does everything you can imagine and more. The ability of XC guide to connect with a large number of external devices and sensors is amazing. For example, you can connect it to an inexpensive home-built FANET+ antenna to see and be seen by other local pilots using FLARM or FANET, and see and be seen by additional pilots/aircrafts from a wide range of tracking networks through your internet. This is just one of the many amazing features.

A great app, especially when we use it professionally for guiding groups. We have a tablet for the driver in the van. As well as visually tracking the pilots around the skies we have them on view from our flight decks aswell.
