getting better. calls are pretty cool. a little over whelmed by the amount of Ads though. I understand for a cheap provider I am the product, the Data but it could be toned down a little.

Like all things japanese they don't want to use the same as the rest of the world. Therefore they created their own phone number system so when you use their link app you have to change all contacts phone numbers. This I did not know. They also decided not to connect me to their network when I first got my phone. I couldn't make a phone call for about 2 months which would be IK but I've been job hunting and wondering why no one's been replying to my applications. The fact they couldn't call

I hate hakuten mobile. It never works. You need to use this app to make and receive calls, and if you close the app you will never receive the calls. I want to cancel but I can't find how to do it. Rakuten sucks.

most of the time a great app with good quality sound. it's a little quiet, and for some reason doesn't have good reception near Yodobashi Camera in Umeda but other than that, it's all good. Recently discovered that the app is dangerous. It doesn't work properly with Bluetooth. It can't be controlled by my car's system. This means that if someone calls while I'm driving, I can't answer it safely using hands free but have to try and retrieve the handset from my bag. This needs to be sorted out.

so very terrible. phone rarely rings. my wife and i have to call each other back and forth 4 or 5 times to get through. call quality sucks. frequent hangups while talking. seems to interfere with other apps (like LINE.) and you CAN NOT set custom ring tones. there is no support available in their stores. just a hot mess. it's free and so was the phone, but i wish i was still paying 1500yen a month for YMobile (which was super good.)

This apps is good for free call and free SMS as long as you have internet connection. Its not using your phone signal. The really minus point is some phone number cant go through this apps. I tried with one of my friend number, it have the notification that you re being called by that number, but can't connect. And last one I dont know if its only my phone or not, when you lock your phone, if there is incoming call, it just vibrate like receiving incoming message only and does not pop up.

Sometimes OK, most of the time subpar. There are not only so many advertisements in the app between messages, after calls, so much that it feels like one of those spam apps. Call quality is substandard. There are so many times when the other party has difficulty in hearing you or vice versa, even when connected to wifi. The only advantage is that you get free calls and sms within Japan
