The app is a good introduction to Kotlin. And that's about it. It covers the basics of programming in general in a nice story telling way. It has potential. The typos and buggy interface leave a lot to be desired. The full price asked would never be worth it. The steep discount at about $12, for the fact that I know effort went into this, was paletteable. I actually thought I'd been scammed after purchase, but I can tell it has a chance for being really good.

It starts out with ads to try and get you to buy into a "one time fee" that's not a bad price at $10. However, the very first course has a quiz that asks questions where the info isn't presented first. Set up for failure Secondly, the grammar is terrible. A basic proofreading app would have solved this. Thirdly, and what was the tipping point for the one star, is that they misspelled Kotlin, MULTIPLE times. If you need a fourth reason to skip this, you can't preview what's "pro".

The design is nice and gentle. But the text is very poorly written, some quiz questions contradict themselves. Too short and superficial and it won't even let you get past 30% without paying for pro version. Do not recommend.

Tactile Nomad (TactileNomad)

Whatever you do, don't spend the money they ask for. This "course" will not give you the tools you need to be a developer, and if you have even elementary knowledge of programming, you'll complete it in half an hour and will have gained nothing. No practice, no projects, incorrect spelling and syntax in the lesson examples in some cases ("printin" happens more than once). Cash grab. Update: requested a refund and was granted it right away. I'll be leaving this here as a caution sign.

Seemed ok but after 5 minutes of the complete absolute basics you have to pay to get the 'pro' version which lets you do more than half of the course. All it taught in the free section was printing and variables... The writing was also fairly bad, with poor grammar and word tenses out of whack. Quite jarring and could be fixed by a quick run through by an editor so not sure why it's still there.

There is an error in Kotlin Advanced course, Exception Handling, Revise-first question,it says that I chose the wrong answer but my answer is correct. I emailed you, there it is said that you will contact in 48 hours, but didn't answer. All apps are perfect in common, I took and finished some courses, and I want to finish that course too. Please fix that error.

I am waiting for support. Purchased the pro version and suddenly everything stopped working...there is no way to honestly rate the app well after just doing the first few lessons. It has good explanations so far...but not worth a good rating if the app doesn't work... Update...well I sent the email, it's been 4 days and my pro access has not been restored yet... guess I'll just have to be more patient then

Doesn't teach you much which only takes 15 minutes in 3 leasons. Then there are only 6 more lessons for the paid version. You can get more instructions with free YouTube videos and or a book.
