I approve of this application. However, there are certain features that would be crucial in the pptimization of lessphone. The premium version is great in design and appeal, but the selection of new apps is not good. Either a way to search instead of scroll, or the possibility of completely eliminating certain apps that will never have utility. (E.g. Lessphone, Dialer, Settings and background apps) Keep up the good work Sebastian Lenk

Less than 1/10 of the price of Minimalist Phone and has a permanent lite mode. Not as feature rich, but you don't need to pay THIRTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS for it. It's basically Samsung UPSM but you get 4 apps + Calling instead of 8 apps. You have just enough room for the necessary apps. Only thing I would want (stolen from minimalist phone 🤫) is an option like giving chosen apps a timer before you're allowed to open them, so you don't just make one of your 4 apps TikTok and doomscroll anyway.

This is the best of the minimalist digital detox phone launchers that I have tried. It's beauty is in its extreme simplicity. With the other launchers I tried, I found myself replacing my old app habits with fiddling with the launcher settings instead (I know, I have a problem lol). But this is SO simple, there's nothing to do but pick your only 4 apps (or 8 if you pay the very small fee for premium). THANK-YOU to the app developers, amazing ultra simple app that's saving me from myself!

it's incredible for what it is, but my only gripe (which I'm sure theres no way to fix) is that workarounds are very easy. I have bixby on my phone and I cant turn it off, or I can just check a menu item to go back to normal. I dont expect there is anything that can be done, but it does make the app less useful for people with no self control like myself.

This app is excellent and exactly what I was looking for. My only criticism is the cap on apps that can be seen from the home screen. There should be no cap, for example I myself would ideally like 8-9 apps present which I regularly use, but currently this is not available. Alternatively, if some sort of folder/branching option was available this could useful. For example having text saying Mail on the home screen, when clicked multiple apps are displayed (Gmail, Outlook) maintaining minimalism.

needs some work, but this app is beautifully refreshing. i wanted to get away from my smartphone and buy a minimalistic flip phone.. but this makes that unnecessary! this is perfect.. and I hope there's more to come. Edit: PLEASE don't forget that this is LESS PHONE, and please don't add extra app slots, or more usability. even somebody who doesn't agree with it may fall into the addiction and use it.. more. which will render this launcher more and more redundant.

I really like your concept. And a few pointers for suggested improvement. 1. Just 3 apps is a bit too restricting. Make it upto 6 (for e.g. Phone, SMS, Maps, WhatsApp, Telegram, Calculator) apart from "Tasks". 2. Tasks to remain hidden until accessed with a downsliding arrow at top. 3. Use minimal but sharp icons instead of text (makes it look cleaner)

I love almost everything about this launcher. Looks clean and minimal, and if you stick to the default you will succeed in using less of your phone. I do believe, however, that the incentives the app gives you are misaligned. We, the people who want to use our phones less, should be incentivized to pay to have further restrictions, not fewer. The most valuable of which I think would be the ability to password lock the settings (the password prompt should not let you paste anything as well).
