Urgh why - dunno but I've checked all the usual places and it's just acting up (have checked I have latest version). It's not showing to pause show then when I cast it , it just stops and also is doing things out of order and I have to debit cast, or stop casting and restart. I've done it min 20 times tonight just because I want to keep watching my show but it'll be a whole before I use again. Not user friendly.

Fix it please. I don't like complaining about a free service, but this app is unusable. So much great content but I can't watch any of it, unfortunately it's all just "oops, something went wrong, please try again later". It can take up to half an hour to get something to play, constantly reinstalling the app, turning tv on and off, even then I dare not pause a show if it does eventually play because it won't work after I un-pause it. Based on the bad reviews it's not just my problem.

Too inconsistent with when it works and when it dosen't. Currently only working if I use data on cellphone, TV and same phone do not work with wifi. Wifi is incredibly fast and other streaming sites work well. When it does work, the 'Watch from the start' function always crashes the app, so you need to 'Watch live' then rewind.

this is the worst streaming app. im incredibly frustrated, even after tech support. it constantly buffers, and stops countless times in an episode. ive had this issue using chromecast, and then with 2 different brand new tvs. Get it sorted TVNZ! You have so many good shows!

terrible app. continually glitches and crashes. so often we have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. and when you finally do the advertising is terrible although slightly better than the 3rd rate shows.

Been having playback issues on my Smart TV since Cyclone Tam hit just recently. Keeps stopping midway through, and after many attempts to restart or reinstall the app, the inconvenience continues to persist. All other apps on TV work fine, the TV's software is up-to-date, and it's connected to fibre internet so no issues from my end. PLEASE FIX!!

The developers really need to up their game. Each time I exit the app on my phone, I have to try multiple times before I can resume my last show. I get it if it's a one-off, but the fact that I have to spend at least 10 minutes spamming the "retry" button is ridiculous. Please fix this issue.

absolutely shocking on smart TV and on Android phone and tablet and Chromecast freezing all the time coming up opps something went wrong all the time it's unwatchable which is annoying as it's the only place to watch some programs like mcleods daughters really not happy.
