honestly my only beef with this is that it has to be connected to data/wifi in order to save the time. we were out hiking and even though I turned stopped the timer when we got back to the car, it wasn't until we were almost home (aka when we got service again) that it was finally able to save the time. I get needing to be on to update and whatnot, but it would be nice if it could save without wifi/data.

This app is pretty much useless without buying the membership, which is not inexpensive. I had to try for WEEKS just to be able to create an account, and even once it finally worked it wouldn't allow me to sign up with google and only allowed manual sign up. literally every feature is paid--the map, coloring tracker, badges, adding photos or journal entries to a day's adventures, even adding in hours that previously happened (even the same day!) without having started the timer first. frustratin

I absolutely love the 1000 hours outside mission and community. With 3 little kids, I don't have a lot of time or brain power, and this app makes keeping track of our hours so easy and accessible. LOVE LOVE LOVE what Ginny has inspired, done for our family and community, and is continuing to do!

I'm sure it's a great app once you're a "member" but the free version is just a timer. Everything else is locked behind a paywall so you can't even earn badges unless you are a paying member that's silly. You're better off using your phones built in timer and logging the time yourself, cause 5 bucks a month or 60 a year isn't worth it for something like time tracking plus you'll have more space on your phone for apps like alltrails, geocaching and others designed to get you outside lol

This app is great and would get 5 stars if I wanted to pay to be a member. But if you're not a member all you can do is time the hours outside, but you can't edit it or add in previous times you might have forgotten to press play. It's a little disappointing.

I downloaded this app 3 years ago and they used to allow you to add your children and unlock the first round of badges. Now they want you to pay so you can log your own hours. You have to pay $30 a month for the "service." I used to love this app and recommended it to families often. As a low income family with one income we can't afford it and it's just stupid to have it cost anything.

The only thing you get without the $40/year or $5/month subscription is a timer and the calendar. If there's a way to add hours without the timer I couldn't find it. Every other feature that is shown is for members only. It looks like a cool app, but I don't want to pay a ton for something I can do on a piece of paper or in the notes app on my phone.

I like this app but I wish the badges counted for each profile and I wish the hours for each profile shows up on the calendar page. All my kids have different activities and some are outside more than others. This is a competition to them and I want each to be able to earn their own badges.
