A Citizen of Rome - Dynasty Ascendant egy többgenerációs családi/dinasztia életű sim, amely az Ókori Római Köztársaságban játszódik.Megtekintheti, hogyan zajlott az élet az ókori köztársaságban, részt vehet különféle szokásaikon, fesztiváljaikon és Ludi / sportversenyeken, miközben családot alapít, és feljebb lép Róma társadalmi és gazdasági hierarchiájában.
Oktathatja gyermekeit, feleségül veheti őket, szponzorálhatja választásaikat és még sok mást. Általában a legidősebb fiaként fogsz játszani, ha a karaktered meghal.
A játék nyílt végű, meghatározott végkifejlet nélkül, akárcsak a való életben, de minden ambiciózus római család nagy célja az volt, hogy a köztársaság konzulja legyen. Ez lehet a célod a játékban is, megmászva a Cursus Honorumot, és "Új emberré" válhatsz - "Novus Homo"

While a quality strategy and simulation game, full of historical research, it needs some tweaks to truly be great. Your family's income randomly decreases with no explanation whatsoever. If there's a drought, fine, tell me and reduce the income of the farms accordingly. Embargo? Sure, reduce the profit of my ships. But there are no explanations, and I end up on a treadmill with invisible controls which are randomly adjusted up and down which really decreases the strategy and the fun.

Update: As of right now, the issue with the game crashing when a certain event pops up has been fixed!! Apparently the latest game update did fix it, but I did have to delete the app and reinstall it. And, when I reinstalled all was fixed and my previous game data was saved!! This is an awesome game, so glad the issue was taken care of!!

Interesting sim but it's either too hard or too easy. Play normally and the game just cudgels you into the ground but sandbox just gives you unlimited everything and makes the game not worth playing. You need a sandbox option where you can modify the game when it gets punitive but let the player decide how much help they want instead of just giving them everything right at the start. That way the player tailors the level of difficulty and it's challenging without being obnoxious.

So far, this game has been great. From roman lore to management to your family and otherwise the gameplay as a whole. Although it could use some tweaks, such as a tutorial on the stats especially which ones matter in certain events, to possibly more micromanagement in terms of managing your family, stat improvements, and possibly property. And I cant remember the user on top of my head, but an encyclopedia on Roman lore would be a great addition to the gam for both education and immersion.

Great game, but hard to keep up with finances. I'll have plenty of property to bring in revenue, everything is going great, nothing changes at all. Then suddenly, I go from making 50+ a month to -40. This is a very frustrating part of the game since I would like to stay away from the easy mode. I just dont get where the money goes. 🤷🏽♀️

It isn't a bad game by any stretch, but it definitely does need some work. For instance, I have noticed a spelling error here and there, among some very minor bugs. The main issue, however, is the lack of content/things to do. I very regularly find myself simply smashing the time progression button just so I can get to events like Saturnalia and whatnot. Needs more activities for sure, and maybe even a compendium of all the Roman lore the game offers you to make it more educational.

so I jut bought this yesterday, and I love it. played it for 5 hours straight without noticing. I will say the balancing is humbling however challenging. it's not hard to catch on to the game, however one bit of criticism. it seems that the interface for clicking the icons below the characters, doesn't actually show anything, not what it is or how it helps, etc.

It got boring really quickly. Seems like the stats don't really do much, and the events get old after a while. I also don't like how apprenticeship scales with your class, and still provides more or less the same benefits. There is a sense of progression for a while, but even in easy mode, the game is too tough.
