I love the idea of this app because I have recently moved to BC from another province and the recycling in my community is a mixed bag with a few good things and several real short-comings. Unfortunately as soon as I enter my address the app crashes and won't reopen. The only way to open it again is to uninstall and reinstall.

The wizard is very stupid. It gives you a long list of places where you can take stuff back to but it's in no particular order at all and no option to use location based selection to see which one is closest. Just a minute in this app and you'll likely run out of patience and toss your stuff in the garbage.

Dear Recycle BC Team, I think your App is very helpful and is almost perfect. Besides showing only the pick-up days you could also show what type of garbage will be picked up. For example on a certain day you could show what color bin is for pick-up. Thank you Viktoria

Works well for recycling, but recycling only. Living in East Van, I uninstalled in favour of VanCollect, which also notifies me of green bin and garbage collection. It has a "waste wizard" searchbar to help sort like this app would. Check if your city has it's own app!

Sometimes the app will randomly close while Im using and needs to be restarted. Frustrating when it happens repeatedly, but I love being able to look up items to figure out where they should go - recylce bin /depot/garbage.

Unusable without an address. Don't need it for scheduling, just for help with the unfortunately large list of recyclable items they won't take. So I can either give someone else's address, or not use it. Uninstalled.

It reminds me at a perfect time, the night right before the recycling pick up. It will be even better if it includes the garbage pick up too. 😁

This app is largely useless. It doesn't connect you to the data that Product Care allows you to access to figure out where to take a vacuum or a light fixture. You'll use it for an hour and then give up and spend time searching the internet. Apps should be useful or you shouldn't waste taxpayer money making one.
