Thanks for including playlist. That is one reason I've used Podkicker: the ability to order playback. Another was it's lack of lock screen control. Can you add an option to turn that off? I prefer my own background image and I often accidentally stop or otherwise control the playback as the phone rubs around in my pocket. Another appreciated feature: rewind.

I have used this app since 2012. I am a long time user. I'm sure they've made a pretty penny from my clumsy ad touches over a decade. I'm leaving. I cannot stand the constant pushing of the subscription service. Constant pop ups demanding I subscribe. A podcasting app is incrediably simple inexpensive bit of software. This subscription would be a complete waste of money. I am switching to an open source app which is proof that podcasting does not require a greedy subcription.

Best there is by a country mile and then some, brilliant app, always consistent with it's offering. I purchased the app, as the cost of €14.99 was negligible and I felt the developer deserved some wee payback, there is absolutely no difference from the free version .You can change the background colour, but after years of using the free background colour , I'm too set in my ways to change.Still a brilliant app and well worth a few Euro

I've used this app for a very long time, possibly a decade and until recently it was just what I needed. It is even easy to get your subscriptions back when getting a new phone. Lately it has become pretty rough. If I have the app running and switch to my browser for 10 seconds and hop back to the app I have a full screen ad nearly every time to switch to premium which has a couple second delay for the "not now" button to pop up. I might switch if an app doesn't cut that ad rate down.

I've used this app for years. I especially love the ability to sort podcasts manually. Recently however podcasts tend to stop for no reason (haven't timed it, perhaps every 30 mins or so) and the app asks if I want to subscribe about 50 times per day (without explaining much benefit, making it clear how or allowing me to stop the interruptions). I'm sad to have to find a new podcast app. Thanks for a good few years podkicker!

When offline, the app has started to play for a few seconds then redirects to Google play (which is unsuccessful as the phone is offline). This makes it impossible to play any podcasts when offline which is most of the time that I need the app. This has been the case on two different phones running different android versions so seems like it must be to do with the app. Started happening around a month or so ago

Updated review: I used to love this app, but I am now changing my review to 1 star because they've started spamming me with a fullscreen ad to upgrade to premium every time I open the app. This intrusive ad used only happen once a day, now it's dozens of times a day, almost every single time you open the app without fail. What a fall from grace. Avoid like the plague.

Simple to use. Good selection of podcasts. It has an easier to use playlist queue than any other podcast app I have used. It is also easier to search for podcasts. The simple interface makes it better than other apps. I also like being able to downloa, and organize in the order I want to listen to. That is working again. However it stops playing at times and doesn't show as a recently used app. Many times it finishes a podcast and stops.
