Happy with our flights! On time and professional. But the app is poor. Even if you load your bookings into the app you can't click on them to start the check-in process and there's no notification when check-in opens. You have to separately click on a check-in button and enter your information again. The app is basically just a shortcut to the check-in on the website.

Horrible app. Essentially just to view your flight. You cannot proceed to check in from the information you already entered. You cannot check all your passengers from the same booking in at the same time. None of the buttons actually do what they describe. Even the newer carries have far better performing apps. So disappointing to interact with the SAA app or website. Do better.

Hire someone with technical skills. Both this app and your web site are full of bugs. I would be embarrassed to release a product like this. Do not rely on this. You are better off printing your boarding pass on paper. The app will say it saved your boarding pass but when it comes time for you to retrieve it you won't find it unless you go to check in and dig through that to generate your boarding pass. So many other deal breaking bugs. Pathetic.

The other carriers have far better apps. Your bookings can't be added. You can't checkin on the app and get your boarding pass, as what it does is redirect you to the website which works only if ots compactable with your phone and when it feels like it. It's easier to use the website, which is slightly better to get your boarding pass emailed to you. Don't bother downloading app. You'll also notice that the developers don't even reply to those who complain about the user experience of the app.

Doesn't do anything. Everything you can do is essentially just a browser window showing the website. Cannot input booked flights and track them or check in natively. Complete waste of time and space. Awful, pointless app that hurts the image of the company more than not having an app at all would.

The app needs A LOT of work. I tried booking a flight and it would not move onto the search page after selecting "search." A very disappointing app. The layout of it also needs to be cleaned up, there is too much happening on one page. SAA, please fix your app or remove it! It's disappointingly useless.

This app is a failure. Based on my experience 25 April 2019. The check-in works the first time only. Thereafter, you will not be able to find your boarding pass again in the app unless you do a check-in again. So, do a screenshot of your boarding pass. The bookings shows my single flight 3 times. Avoid the inconvenience of this app and use their website. This app never was tested before it was released on the Play Store.

This should be called cr-app !! At almost 80mb of rubbish, I'm really surprised that nobody has latched on and fixed it. By the time you get you online boarding pass, the plane would have reached its destination and you would still be trying to check in. Come on SAA, if this is a reflection of your competence then Ryanair will be able to pick up all your flight slots.💩💩💩💩 You have to laugh - "What's New" states they have updated the font style. If they deleted everything it would improve it
