LOVE THE LOCK The previous review was 2 stars due to the app not working, but they reached out immediately and solved the issues I was having! 5 stars, Lock is really good quality, works perfectly for me. The app had troubles before, but now works like it should. Thank you for fixing it! Features work really well. I highly recommend this brand if you're in need of a quality smart lock! I like that I can have peace of mind. My stuff is safe and locked away!

Initially, fine. I would open the app, open my door, simple. Now, everytime I want to enter my room I get an advertisement, which is the most annoying implementation I've ever seen for this type of app. Imagine opening your messenger app and getting an ad everytime. I'm at a loss for words. As of writing this the app won't even open for 5 seconds without crashing- so I have to uninstall my smart door lock to get in my room. I'll be refunding my lock due to this mandatory app, that's for sure.

App has become unstable - after many months of no problems it now crashes every time I run it, with an error message stating 'Network is unavailable' which is odd as the network is very much available. Also I don't remember the app displaying obnoxious ads for products sold by geek tale. I can access some of the functionality but only if I do it quick before the inevitable crash. Very annoying - zero stars if I could.

For some reason, the doorknob (K01) was removed from the app. I've been attempting to add the lock back to the app, but every time I try, I get an error message ("Add device failed"). I've tried resetting the door knob several times and have not been able to add it back to the app. The door knb is now stuck in factory mode - pointless if I have to use a key to open it.

Can't Turn Off Auto Lock Even if you turn Auto Lock off, as soon as you lock it, it turns back on. I don't want the lock to automatically relock itself. And if you change it for say, 30 minutes, then you can't even use the fingerprint for 30 minutes to lock or unlock. That's not good. I simply want to use the fingerprint function to lock or unlock without any automation. Please fix this terrible design flaw. *Edit Lock K01

I saw a lot of negative reviews so I just wanted to add personal perspective. The app did not give me any trouble so far since installed and everything is working as it should. Adding finger prints, passwords, key cards, temporary assess was straightforward. I'll report back if anything bad happens. BTW, my phone is a galaxy s10 plus.

Update: app was updated and so far has been working fine for me again. Another update was pushed out on March 12th, but since everything is working fine now, I didnt want to risk messing it up with the newest update. Original review: Got everything working with my new lock I installed yesterday. App updated today and now it closes out every time right after launching it, and I get a message that says there's a bug that is making the app force close. I hope this is fixed quickly!

So far so good, was skeptical about ordering the door knob cause of the app reviews. But was able to easily setup and add the biometrics to the app. Door knob is working well aside from needing shorter screws to get a tight fit. UPDATE: Apparently you need to have the app open and running in the background for it to allow you to open the door with your finger print. Which is the whole point of it.
