App stalls and crashes constantly. Makes it 10x harder to set appointments. Harder to see notes for each appointments and compare. Literally adds more steps to everything the old app did. This 2.0 is awful. I don't know how anyone thought this would be a good idea during testing. It now is telling me it needs and update, updated it, and it keeps saying it needs and update. It's really helpful to put all your client info and appointments on an app that doesn't open....

I like how the 2.0 version looks and the extra features like being able to choose specifically 4,6,8 weeks and seeing that clients requested me or that you can mark stylist preferences for client profiles. However this version has more than a few minor bugs. I have to log back in several times a day, it's slower to load that the original, and it's just inconvenient to use. Uninstalling this version now and re-downloading the original.

This app is so slow, it's completely unusable. While it seems to have been optimised for ios, using it on my Samsung is like pulling teeth. When opening the app, it takes a minute and a half to even be able to load appointments. Clicking anything, you may get a lucky 30-45 seconds until the next screen loads. Not feesable on a busy work day. Clearly this isn't a phone issue, as I never had problems with the original app. While I like the flow of this app and the informational visually available

The new version is generally slower and clunky to navigate. I wish they would have kept the functionality of double clicking your schedule to navigate through screens instead of completely changing things. Sometimes I need to quickly look at things and it takes longer because not only do things load slower but I have to find the icon that represents the page I'm trying to view. I like some of the new features and bring able to read client notes easier, but I'd much rather have kept the old one.

Most recent update seems to crash the keyboard so I can't add any appointment notes. It also crashes the generic Android gboard keyboard app so badly it doesn't work in any other apps after Phorest messes it up, so I have to restart my phone or force stop on gboard. Have tested in various ways & reinstalled Phorest & restarted phone but this problem remains and will now impact my working job. Sort it out ASAP please!!!

Not a great system. Numerous times we have asked for the option for clients to pay with their voucher online and received no responses, so clients then have to phone us. Seems to glitch a lot too and system updates end up resetting settings so we have to go back and do them all again.

If i could give the phorest 2.0 no stars, i would. New app not fit for purpose & completely unusable. Old app - absolutely wonderful with no issues at all No one at phorest knows anything about their app - all tell me they will take my query to "the team" I am apparently the only person who doesn't like the new app according to phorest... I've given up asking for help - very rarely get a straight answer & 9/10 get spoken to as if im a very stupid woman 🤦🏻‍♀️

We have complained to Phorest and even with 2.1 out of 5*nothing has changed. The old app was perfectly fine, classic case of if it ain't broke don't fix it. Staff all rely on it and need ease of use, will be looking at new software soon unless it changes.
