This app is misunderstood by many, but it has its use. It activates the lockdown mode. Some Android customizations don't let you access this mode natively. In this mode, the phone cannot be unlocked using biometrics. You have to use a password, so it creates extra security in situations where you need it.

Thanks to developer for the excelent work indeed! Finally, after combining with HomeBot, I managed to replace the annoying G assistant with THIS. Great for suspending temporarily Trusted Places and biometrics features. WOULD PAY SMALL EXTRA TO DISABLE annoying screen when the lockdown gets activated. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Works exactly as advertised. Note it installs two similar blue icons, one is the programs settings, the other is the actual lock icon. After enabling put the lock icon on your home screen, when you press it you will need to use the PIN to open your phone. Simple and unobtrusive. Kudos. Using Factory Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9

Perfect! I can configure a quick gesture to launch the lockdown app in an emergency, and it works great on my OnePlus 8t with the latest Android 13 update. People giving bad ratings don't understand what the app is for.

I don't see the point of this. I just want to block the ads on my phone, all this app seems to do is give you more ads and then make an extra button to close your phone. There's already a button on the side of the phone to lock the screen, I must be missing something because this seems redundant. I'll gladly reinstall if it would simply do the job I downloaded it for and block the ads.

This app is useless if your phone doesn't supports lockdown feature. If any android phone have this setting available by manufacturer then it will only on it. Also it wants adminstrator permission after which it becomes impossible to uninstall it.

This app is exactly what I had been looking for. My phone now has increased security. SUGGESTION: could this app be expanded with NOTIFICATIONS --- possibly allowing audio when activated??
