Does exactly what it purports. I was struggling with a Tasker task to toggle my VPN on untrusted networks and this app saved me quite a bit of trouble. WG Tunnel works perfectly with no battery drain (even left unrestricted). I really like the easy-to-use UI/UX, while still retaining enough granularity satisfy my needs. And the dev is very quick to respond! Thanks, Zane! <3 <3 <3

Reading the description, I thought that this was what I was looking for. Update2: Starting of the VPN on excluded Wifi network for a couple of seconds is still a problem, no wildcharts are used. I installed it on another phone, with the same config the VPN is OK, Problem is with a Poco F6 Pro, works ok with MI12lite, both up to date hyperOS. With tasker VPN switching works fine. It appears to me that Tasker is less responsive, maybe a timing issue.

Really cool WireGuard client, especially because of the Auto Connect when on untrusted networks feature. My experience with this app has been wonderful till today, when I changed some things in my setup and I needed to add a new instance in the app. Everything went good, scanned the qr, added the new instance, but when I tried to remove the old one I noticed that the remove button didn't actually work.

***Update*** The developer reached out and pushed a rapid fix that solved my issues. Battery drain bug is gone, and the app works beautifully again! Love all the features of this client, especially the auto tunnel when off dedicated ssid's. . . ***Old*** 1 star since the last update. My s24 battery only lasts two hours from 100% charge. Even with screen off. Status shows this app drained it each time. Worked perfectly up until the last update of the app. Disable and battery back to normal.

Was trying to automate the tunnel through home assistant and came across this app. Exactly what I needed! Could easily zip my current VPN in the wireguard app and transfer it to this app on my phone; 5 minute job and works like a charm.

Admittedly 1st day of running the app. But it's just what I have been looking for. I have setup my own photocloud and needed a solution that transparently handles connection between my LAN and VPN. This app was the last piece of the puzzle: it activates the VPN when I am not on my own wifi, and deactivates it when I am home. With this, split DNS is easy to achieve and my home server can be reached with the same URL wherever I am. The UI could be improved a bit but hey, that's nitpicking.

Edit: Revised to max rating after the dev helped out, now works perfectly on the amnezia userspace setting. Cheers! --- I am not sure about the issue, but using the identical settings to the standard Wireguard app, i get insanely slow speeds in this app. 1330 MTU for client and 1420 for server, in Wireguard android I get 30up and 30 down, in this one i get 300kbps down and 20mbps up... The UI and autoconnect is good though, dunno about the speed issue.

LOVE IT! EXACTLY what I was looking for! The auto connect on untrusted wifi or mobile network is invaluable. I will learn about Amnesia settings and speed comparison. TESTED and works as expected. As info., IOS has the wifi auto connect option with Wireguard VPN without third party app.
